Be sure to take all your meds, you don't want a relapse. I've had that before and I called my doctor at 3am to prescribe some antibiotics.

I'm home now. I can't believe I actually got doctor's orders NOT to drive. That is definitely a first. I feel like I'm floating. Originally Posted by Malaya

That is why people are so disoriented after a carnival ride on a spinning ride, and actually stagger. The fluid is still moving around and affecting these hairs. You infection has made this even worse . That is why the doctor eliminated driving, quickly standing up, or any fast movements. These movements of fluids within the ear will cause you to lose balance and you will simply fall over. These same hairs tell your body when is properly upright or not.

Due to your current pregnant condition; I would sincerely encourage you to absolutely to follow the doctor's advice for both the baby's and your own sake. Try to imagine the consequences to the both of you, if you take a fall while simply bathing?

And remember to take your damn medications on a timely manner! LOL!

An ear infection is no fun, but it is curable with medications and time.

Take care and my best wishes for the both of you for a speedy recovery! I hope that you heal quickly. BTW! I don't know about ear infections and sex! Just remember fast movements that I previously stated.

Seriously Universe!!@#?? As if being pregnant wasn't challenging and discomforting enough....

Sorry to hear that sweetie. It's tough too. Hard to take any meds to help that don't affect the baby.

Hope you get well soon!
I'm doing better now. The ear infection is gone but it has left something called "Glue Ear". Basically my ear is all clogged up with fluids from the infection and it can take up to 3 months to go away. It has made hearing out of my right ear difficult. And thank you everyone for the advice. I'm already stocked up on vitamin C and probiotics.
