You charge whatever you want. That is why you are independent. You do as you please not what a jerkoff dictates.

Bri, you will learn soon that asking on a public board (any Eccie board is pretty much public) that really you are sticking your foot in your ass. Do not be flexible with your rates. If you want to be affordable to everyone do what another lady suggested and offer specials. It seems that once you go down on your rates you can't go back up as easy. Think about that and don't let anyone tell you what to do. I suggest a few internet searches on escorting. There are a few good books out there too. Professional pictures are a very wise investment.
