Just last week I saw two ladies loading their trunk in a church parking lot with hand outs the church had collected from donations for the needy. I pulled into a quick shop just down the road from the church to get a cup of coffee, and guess who walked in while I was pouring my cup of joe. The same two ladies I had just seen loading their trunk. I could only shake my head as they bought a case of beer and 2 packs of cigaretes right in front of me.

Ze this is an awesome post. I cant believe the ladies that beg for money and etc. I say lower your price do specials and go from there. The pride that keeps you from offering guys a lower price isnt going to feed you or etc... I know there are alot of kind hearted passionate people on here but this is a hobby and guys like to have fun and nt be taken advantage. I know alot of hard working people that dont make very much money and there is no way they would beg or ask for a hand out.....

Maybe I just have a soft spot in my heart to help others, maybe I am overly giving ect. maybe even crazy for falling for a scam once in a while. But as I see it, it is my higher power who returns my blessings not mankind. I know no one will agree with my logic, but I still give to worthy causes, even though alot of people are running scamms more so lately than ever before. So if one chooses not to help others, or chooses to do so, then please let's not judge them. I made a comment on another thread to Ms. ZE, and I still feel the same way on this one. Yes this is a hobby board, not a charity drive, but at the same time, we don't know what others are going through in their RL. So go ahead and bash my post, I am ok with that. If You (we) choose to not help someone out because, quite frankly, it is getting old, then so be it.

Most of us guys come here to escape a real world where demands are put on us each and everyday. I do a lot of volunteer work where I purposely set out to give of my time, talent and treasure. I don't want to come here to see and do more of the same.

Sure, if you are a friend of mine, and you have a need, and you want to drop me a PM, then we can see how good of friends we are. I have helped several over the years. Paid phone bills, paid for one lady to go to her grandmother's funeral, paid for another lady to get home after she was left stranded. Some paid me back, others left me high and dry.

Posting about your needs here is going to accomplish three things.

(1) Some guys will ignore you because they don't want to get involved in drama or figure if you can't manage your business, you probably can't manage to keep an hour of your time devoted to them.

(2) Some guys will see this as a perfect time to take advantage of the lady and move in for the kill: Demand deep discounts or services the lady usually does not provide: Greek, BBBJ instead of CBJ, CIM & swallow instead of spit, BBFS instead of CFS.

(3) Some guys are so fed up with this that they don't read any of the BS and will never be the wiser.
