ANY ADVICE ON LEGAL HELP FOR ARRESTED PROVIDERS

ElisabethWhispers's Avatar
I'm not aware of any advocacy groups in Wyoming, either. And even the big ones (in Chicago and Las Vegas) like SWOP, really doesn't offer that much hands on help.

They're supportive but if you're friend is being held on a $5,000 bond (YIKES!), I would suggest that she get some type of attorney to get her out of there.

(Note to Elisabeth: Don't go to Wyoming!)

Where in Wyoming did this happen?

How do you know that the police barged in out of frustration? Is that in the arrest report?

Hire an attorney or get one appointed by the court.

I am not a lawyer as I have said before.. but don't you have to be charged before they can set your bond?

EDIT @ destiny j32... your welcome. and no I am not following you. lol
Thanks for the input. She has an attorney, but things are moving way too slow. He still does not have the discovery, and when asked the prosecutor is saying 'in do time". I understand the law in Texas but this is Wyoming and apparentley this is their trial of the century. A bailbondsmen can not post it because they are only taking $5000 cash bond. And BTW for all of the smart asses out there. This could happen to anyone of you at anytime, this is not a screening issue. And there is no more to this case point blank. IT WAS HER OFF DAY! SHE HAD NO CLIENTS!!!

Thank you Hotmia for not using all caps..
Sorry that you took my first post as me being an ass, it was not meant to be.
I think we started on the wrong foot and I want you to know that I respect your passion in trying to help your friend.
I know because she called several people while they were banging on the door and was terrified and we all gave her the same advice."Do not get the door". She is than heard screeming "oh my god they are in here". The hotel manager told the attorney that they were setting out there for 10 hours after coming in with a photo from her visiting add and asking if he thought she was staying there. BTW. Sheridan Wyoming. I know about the right to a speedy trial but can anyone define speedy?

No. That is the other girl. She too is screaming 4th amendment violation (entering her room with no warrant). My friend is the one from Texas . Notice the lack of details incomparison.

Hotmia, did she have her face posted ANYWHERE on ANY one of her ads? Or possibly a tattoo showing in one of the pics?
Nope. Blurred face and no tattoos.
Fucking Wyoming pigs. The maximum fine for prostitution is $750 so where the fuck do these cocksuckers get off giving a $5000.00 bond?
EW - Billings Bozeman & Sheridan rock. casper sux.

I dont think I can be of much help but here's my take. ND is blowing the frack up. Period.

Girls from the Pacific NW are heading there & ID & MT & WY and...and they are travelling around.

It's only natural that busts will increase all along those trails leading into NE Montana & ND. NOW....from what I understand (at least in TN) if police knock on your hotel room door - you do not have to open it. The only person who can let them in is the mgr of the hotel. this is TN mind you. WHY the police would break into the room....probable cause?

Get an attorney

Did she get busted with illegal substances in her possession like this other chick or something else, you're leaving out something.
No not at all. She was released yesterday because the judge threw it out on a 4th amendment violation. The other girl has a court date in February. Thank God for fair judges.
