People can get drivers license numbers without mail theft. With access to a person's real name someone who is motivated can dredge up all kinds of info on that person.
The info on that site is getting bad. I thought it was bad before but nowadays they are posting a lot of real life info and doing their best to ruin reputations. Be careful going to that site, make sure your antivirus is running and your firewalls are up. Several computers have gone down due to beasties on that site.
