usually there is a side door gents can come through to feel more comfortable. Originally Posted by Eva DamitaUntil a certain time of the night. I HATE indoor lobbies but they are normally nicer....My trick is I leave the door cracked with the lock opened right when my visiting friend calls to tell me he is parked. Then I tell him what room number and I tell him to walk in like he owns the place do not knock on the door or stand there in the hall. For 1 it looks like he belongs there if he just walks in. AND FOR 2 (Texas Law) I have to open the door and let them boys in if they are to enter my place) Not sure what LA law is on that matter but in Texas they must knock I must invite in.....(Now if you text them the room number and tell them that then it is the same thing as inviting them in because it is in writing HOWEVER if you just tell them on the phone it does NOT count they have to knock........Unless they see a danger yadda yadda yadda. Guess 12 years of traveling you get to know tricks lolThat's a good idea! Leavin door unlocked. Some guys can't help feeling paranoid.I'm the same way! Lolol.
