Soccer has halves and not periods...unless it's a women's match and then it has BOTH halves and periods

I was hoping for one win after all the excitement of the prior match. Soccer will never catch on here because our pro league is low quality soccer. Bad soccer is pretty hard to watch. I hated soccer till I spent a season in England working and watched because there weren't other sports to watch. Pretty good game when played well.

they need to work on their passing and get better strikers. defensively, they are pretty decent and I think the coach did the best for what he had.

on another note, our cousins in great britain are about to get their tickets to go home too. maybe our neighbors to the south can get their game on and win today against argentina. seems the teams I am rooting for arent doing too well. lol

After the loss to Ghana.

NY Post's headline:

"This sport is stupid anyway"

My headline thought was "Not again, Ghana damn!"

Just as a minor point of interest.

Ghana was formerly known as Gold Coast until 1957 when the British allowed their former colony to become independent.
