The other reality is that cable news on the left has more outlets to choose from. Were Fox to get some competetion, their viewership would drop. I can't figure out for the life of me why that hasn't happened. I would love to see a cable outlet outmaneuver Fox to the right. Something like Tea Nut Central or Beck's new shit. Be a blast watching them compete for veiwers. At some point , Fox will be viewed by the Tea Nuts as liberal!
