smelly people @ gyms

The last time I worked out in public was over 10 years ago. I was in the men's locker room and these two guys kept preening in front of the mirror and looking at themselves. Originally Posted by Pyle1

I go to the gym to sweat, so sweaty people do not bother me ( and I love looking at the girls sweating!!!!) What does bother me are cell phones and Ipads in the gym. Last week in the sauna a lady using an ipad, really? Wtf? Or texting, even worse talking on the cell phone in the sauna or steam room (and no, not important calls obviously BS calls) THAT Annoys me. My cell stays in my car while at the gym.

I keep my phone on me, I need to listen to music while i work out.... Not cause I need to listen to music while i work out, but the headphones in your ears makes people second guess themselves of whether they really want to bother you.... to socialize...
Gyms stink to high heaven. I workout outside or in a yoga studio.

OK Now I will be doing more looking than exercising---trying to see if KatieKatie NYC is in my gym!!!!!! I'm working up a sweat thinking about what that would look like............... Just saying :-)
Would someone post a sign next to the hair dryers in the men's locker rooms "to be used exclusively for your hands". It is uncomfortable enough the short time I have to be in there. I don't need to see a 350+lbr using it on his jr. It is all about etiquette.

I work out at 5AM so I don't have to see half of this garbage. The 24 hr gym downtown is worse than a damn nightclub at 5PM.
