@perfectyou, I would also like some information, I dont need anymore work done right now, but I may someday.
And, thank you for posting this info. I know several people that have went out of the country to have work done and are STILL perfectly happy with their results.

Darn, wish it was on the Texas border - I have probably read about this clinic/dr when I was researching tt/bl procedures. I ended up going to CR and had a GREAT experience
If it is convenient, can you send me info? yourmightyaphrodite@aol.com

Thanks!

Jewish Lawyer, lots of women travel over the boarder and to other countries to get work done. Calm down! Hopefully everyone will do their research. I have friends who need to go south of the border to get huge implants that are not approved here--too big! Want to freak out on Betty Big Boobies for doing it?
I am always amazed at the never-ending arrogance of people in this country. Oh, we think we are superior in every way, but here's a news flash: people in other countries actually have a different opinion. They happen to like living in places other than the USA. And they are not stupid, uneducated, unprincipled, and lawless. They are PEOPLE, period.

Hi, think I can shed some light on this topic. I volunteered for a U.S. plastic surgeon when I was going to a medical assistant vocational school. U.S. surgeons have to charge higher rates due to the high cost of malpractice insurance, among other things. There is a website www.makemeheal.com where you can compare plastic surgeons all over the world and the surgeons are reviewed by their clients. Many people travel to other countries to save a ton of money. Yes, there are some very dangerous surgeons but the website is very good at tracking and verifying the safe and good surgeons out there.

In my case, I went to my local U.S. surgeon and had him examine me and notate any of the procedures I was interested in. I was able to skype and send the info to my Mexican surgeon (who just happened to be a surgical instructor in California) and he was able to give me what I wanted and for a third of what I paid. My only complaint about my tummy tuck is that my belly button is not quite center but I look much better than I did before I had it done. Putting up with the uncomfortable travel and visiting somewhere outside your comfort zone can save you a ton of money if you do your research and ask a ton of questions.

I meant to say that I paid a third of what my U.S. surgeon quoted me.

Please PM me your information about this establishment. I've got a girl that wants a makeover LOL.

I sent the wife, now ex-wife, to Costa Rica in '07 for some extensive work and the results were great and I paid $10,000 for what would have cost me $35,000 in the States.

Going out of the country doesn't scare me at all.
