Well I guess for the providers, snowstorms are like sex, you don't know how many inches you're going to get, or how long it will last.

FS; what time will you be over to clear my driveway?
If anyone needs me...from Weds evening until Monday morning, I will be burrowed in my house. Fireplace, wine, movies, comfy couch, warm blanket and plenty of batteries.
Actually will be busy cleaning feed alleys at the feedlot so we can get the cattle fed. Your driveway isn't high on the priority list unfortunately for you.

Oh I remember those days. A "snow day" was not a snow day when I was growing up; we were out cleaning out the feedbunks and the mangers and we did that all by hand. Of course we were right in the wind too, lol

This morning when I looked Columbus and Lincoln were going to be the hardest hit. Now it looks like Falls City gets it the worst at 18.8 inches (I love how ultra precise they make this when they're just going to change it in a few minutes). Maybe the worst of it will be south of us?
This morning it looks like most of Nebraska will get at least 6 " of snow, but the heavier amounts will probably be in North Central Kansas and Central Nebraska.
That sucks.......I want a blizzard, at least a foot of snow.
