Just because you are a provider doesn't mean you don't have rights

I didn't see her say she would be violent towards him. If someone did that to me, you bet, I would hunt his ass down as well and deliver my own form of justice and it would be in the form of the "the law". This squeeky wheel would be getting the grease, trust me on that one.

It's not nice to put words someones mouth like that. Who knows what her "form of justice" would be" since she didn't elaborate on it. And I hope she comes on here and clears it up because next thing you know, someone will be claiming they saw Micheal Jackson hanging out with Elvis. Originally Posted by Kayleehotchick

Yes, providers pay taxes. Well, the smart ones do. Its really not that hard of a concept to grasp. Pretty easy to do.
In this business women are at a greater risk, just by virtue of coming in contact with more male strangers than they normally would.

Personally, if I was at a safe distance - Id threaten the 911 call but if in real danger, I would not fight back. I'd just submit. By fighting, you run the risk of the male on the other end viewing you as a 'peer' - in the truest sense of the word, a woman isn't a fair match. He can win, if he wants a fight...I won't give it. Best to not antagonize an already angry person. Empathy is inherent in all humans, the odds of him showing mercy are on your side.

I once read some statistics on women and guns. It's more likely he'll grab it and shoot you - I'm 99% sure that'd happen to me. It can happen anytime anywhere...not just in hobby life.
How exactly do providers pay taxes? Massage therapy? You sound like you're off your rocker.

I never could accept the "submit" theory. I still believe putting up a fight and making all the noise you can will result in a better outcome. The statistics you read may have been slanted to favor the author's desired conclusion. I believe the mere presence of a firearm will result in an aggressor leaving rather than risk getting shot trying to disarm you. Of course my statistics may be slanted too but we are comfortable with our own beliefs.

I hope none of us ever have to prove whether our opinion works or not.
Just today I had a friend offer to take me to the gun range. I've never even held a play gun but I'm up for it. I'm vulnerable and know it. I've got two big indoor dogs, one a Pit Bull - at least they'd alert to suspicious activity - the sound/look scary but who knows.

If I awoke to a man on top of me or got pulled in to an alley - I'd submit. I'd rather be raped, than killed - not beat up, than beat. I don't know, I guess you don't know what you'll do until you are in that situation.

oh, i get it. you're joking.....
