Appointment times

Oh yeah I'm also rich bitch. Not really but have a job that pays top 5%...

Geese I was just joking because of the post saying providers cancel because they don't want too. Thats all. Originally Posted by projectbliss

I take appointment times as fluid .... They book, I put it on my calendar and ask him to text/call the day before. The next morning, I text to confirm and text again 2hrs before. If he can't make it, no biggie - it happens.

I had a client just show up and knock today ... that was a first. A client had just left and another was coming just to bring lunch and visit, technically I had time but didn't feel like it. I was in yoga pants, a baggy sweatshirt, slippers and had my hair up. I first ran immediately to take it down but then thought HEY! He came in for ten minutes and apologized if it seemed creepy - he's a nice guy so I didn't really think much of it. Is that weird? Or does it happen often?

Fuck that. No one better ever show up unannounced at my place. EVER. In addition , that is adding to your traffic for the day. Not very discreet, safe or appropriate for him to do that. He would not have came in and chatted for even 1 minute.

If I take a day off, I'm in jeans and glasses and may have laundry on the couch/dishes in the sink. Plus my clients know I have dogs but you can't tell...I keep my place that clean. Today he's at the door and my pit is looking out the glass barking in his face - yikes!

Traffic - interesting. Are neighbors really keeping count? How can they prove it? I'm single and for all they know I could be dating...?

That's why I prefer regulars! On any given week, I get 4 repeat clients. He's one of them which kind of makes him a friend? If my friend showed up like that would I be mad - no, I'd be welcoming and let them in.

I'm confused ... Maybe I'm just naive?

Neighbor's do notice what's going on, never think they don't. Keep in mind if something goes wrong with the new found friends, it can get ugly knowing where you live and what you do for work.

"Naive" uh you think. Girl if you were just worried about how your house looked, I would have to say,"you need to be more worried about a client just showing up at your house unannounced no matter what time of day, unless, of course you have an open door policy, and that my dear, is freaky to me!
