I take appointment times as fluid .... They book, I put it on my calendar and ask him to text/call the day before. The next morning, I text to confirm and text again 2hrs before. If he can't make it, no biggie - it happens.
I had a client just show up and knock today ... that was a first. A client had just left and another was coming just to bring lunch and visit, technically I had time but didn't feel like it. I was in yoga pants, a baggy sweatshirt, slippers and had my hair up. I first ran immediately to take it down but then thought HEY! He came in for ten minutes and apologized if it seemed creepy - he's a nice guy so I didn't really think much of it. Is that weird? Or does it happen often?

That is totally disrespectful of your time and privacy. "Naive" uh you think. Girl if you were just worried about how your house looked, I would have to say,"you need to be more worried about a client just showing up at your house unannounced no matter what time of day, unless, of course you have an open door policy, and that my dear, is freaky to me!
