Jay ....I am sorry you had that awful experience.
I have participated in MWM with my previous BF and we never had a bad experience.
1.- Normally by their use of language in emails and text you can tell their level of education, true swinger are highly educated. 2.- You want to make sure they have experience in this lifestyle 3.- need to ask "how they are partying", stay away from ppl who do drugs (coke, meth, etc).
4.- sometimes it helps to meet for drinks first and if the vibe is good ...proceed with the fun.
5.- there is no need to discuss the rules in person, do it ahead before the meeting
6.- Trust your instinct, we used to "host" so we had more control, rather than visiting....but obviously if you get to a place and it does not feel right....turn around and leave or say you are tired or "forgot that you left something on the stove" LOL

I'm by no means a regular with these sorts of things but I have had a few experiences and perhaps had my guard down simply because of the overwhelmingly positive experiences I've had previously. Very good advice and points you make Monica.

I had a FFM date one time when I was new, nice couple I was going to town on her orally while he was coming at me from behind... Suddenly she got up, but of course he kept pumping away, less than 30 seconds later I heard *WHACK*, turned around to see him clutching his head from where she punched him in the face..... Poor Jay! How awful, and I can't say that I am surprised. cl folks can be so crazy...talk about not knowing what you are stepping into. Your experience sounds like a jealous idiot nightmare.

Early in my hobbying, I had a twenty-something fella, who thought that "donkey punch" was the normal way to treat a woman. He had to be taught a few things.
