I bet the transcripts of a dispute resolution would be funny as hell

who needs a fancy a$$ card reader..I get straight to the source.

I call it the "A$$ sWiPe 1000".

I wouldn't take a chance with my CC not knowing how well her phone/system is protected from hacking etc. Even the big stores and gas stations occasionally have trouble. Unless I absolutely have to have something and have no cash, I will use a CC, but other than that, it's all cash. Too much BS going on over the air waves now a days.

I have used a cc couple times for a "visit".
What I do is buy one of those prepaid Visa cards and load it at Walmart.

Yea Bigstk01, good idea, but if you have cash to get a prepaid, might as well just pay cash, at least for hobbying. I thought about keeping a low limit on a CC, but someone could still get into your account and raise the limit then go on a buying spree.

Even with a reputable provider, something bad could still happen. IMHO

A friend of mine saw two girls in Singapore. He paid with AMEX. Afterwords he complained about the service. The details are funny but not important. He called Amex to dispute the charges for bad service. I listened to the phone call. He got his money refunded. So I agree from both sides it has problems. I prefer cash. So Ladies how do you prevent this from happening? Maybe only take CC from known customers?

So what is the percentage that the CC company charge for each transaction fee? One thing I haven't seen is ladies that do accept CC payments say they have a Processing Fee. Not only do you have a processing fee but some CC companies will also hit you with a fee too. Then on top that depending on type of CC it is (Rewards Program Type Card) they will hit you with another fee. So all in all, being able to accept CC can be a money losing situation for ladies that think there getting 300hr but when they swipe that CC they could only be getting 275-280hr from all the associated fees involved.

I contemplated accepting credit cards at one point in time, but just couldn't see the benefits outweighing the risk and/or investment. Cash works best for me.

When I use the Square, I charge a $10 processing fee. Period. If the amount of the charge is $500 or up, well that rate would change. I've written that on my ads, etc.

To take a loss would be absurd.

I've only used my Square a handful of times since having it. And I've only offered it for the past month. But I like it. A lot!

I try to use cash but if Chase Rewards promotes 5% cash back on Massage Parlors, Escort Services and Adult Bookstores I may have to rethink it.

Seriously, for the business minded lady, accepting plastic increases revenue. Undeniably and significantly. Enough so that you shouldn't charge a processing fee, if anything you should up the rate and offer a cash discount. There are risks, but there are benefits. No client is going to put a gun to your head and take your bank account. You're not going to blow it before you can get it to the bank Monday. There are downsides too.

I despise the banking process. But trying to earn these days I would take plastic if I go man whore.

I don't see any reason to take CC's. If he was too lazy to go and find an ATM, then he would definitely have the energy to pick Up his cell and call his card company and report the charge as "Fraudulent". Just my .02.
