What would it take to quit?

But then again, maybe I'd be paying YOU.
Ari, I have never met you, but I like your style. Enjoy reading your posts as it shows you are a smart lady with a good head on your shoulders. I can totally see your point. You enjoy your independence, and yes, the money may be sweet, but the many strings attached to it would make you miserable. Some guys may disagree, but not all women (even in this profession) would find 100k a year an ideal situation. Sounds like you have experienced a situation like this, and found out it wasn't suited for you. You are making your own way in life, and being true to yourself. I respect that. Can't buy me out of he hobby! There may be a magic formula that included financial freedom, but I would have to connect on multiple facets.

I participate in the hobby because I love it! I like my independence and the lifestyle. I like having lots of boyfriends and attention. I also don't believe in gold digging or faking feelings for financial gain.

The hobby is supposed to be an honest arrangement where everyone knows what the expectations are and it is drama free. I consider hobbying to be more honest than most relationships and have no moral quandaries. Originally Posted by Ari816

Troll effort 2/10..
What would it take for any of you ladies to quit? I mean, hypothetically, if I offered you $100K a year would you quit and be my girlfriend? More? Not about the money so no chance? Just curious... Originally Posted by Herm

A flat monthly rate sounds like it is asking for trouble, I would not accept a monthly fee to be at someones every unlimited beck and call. I would be your exclusive girlfriend if we came to a financial agreement and a fixed number of visits per week or per month.

Bills $ + Saving $ + Spending $ = Enough money for me to be your girlfriend.

Nevertheless, if a lower financial arrangement happened to get brought up in discussion after initial terms have been agreed, it would cause me to reconsider my desire to remain exclusive, not necessarily decline, just reconsider.

I'm thinking you want to be like Ferris. Just a hint, but guys that have enough scratch to set up an exclusive deal don't post on this site.

I'm thinking that some of the ladies here have been promised the world a million times already and wouldn't do it because they know in general we as men usually find a way to mess up a good thing... I think if someone offered an easy 75k with a vehicle, and a place to stay the average woman could come to some type of agreement. The problem is can she trust that the guy is going to honor his part because as soon as the guy wants something different he would probably ditch her. Sounds like a modern day marriage to me...

Having her own money, without being questioned, goes a long way to maintaining a long term relationship and trust. That is assuming that she knows how to handle money, and does't just throw it away at the boats; then you have a problem.
