Following Founders’ Wisdom An Unsafe Choice In Modern America

Hah I knew you guys always had it out between the two of you guys, but he was always at least civil to me. Ah well, honeymoon's over I guess and back to American politics as usual. Originally Posted by jbravo_123

He is still banging on with the same nonsense. Hello? The constitution is not the bible, and the bible is not the word of god, it is inspired by God.

Danger of making the constitution into false graven image.

Of course I generally agree with the original tone of the constitution etc. as formulated at the time, most of the ideas came from England/Europe anyway. Some of us have moved with the times.

The constitution has morphed into an instrument of liberal destruction. They use it when it suits them, and they ignore it when it is inconvenient. We should tear it up and go with a parliamentary system, and quit letting the liberal judges interpret it anyway they want to do whatever they want.
As long as you worship the false god of constitutionality, the liberal fuckers will keep shoving shit down your throats.
England doesn't have a constitution, and they have survived just fine.
Israel has no constitution, and it is the greatest nation in the world!!!

Those poor backward bastards known as our founding fathers wouldn't
even let the Government come into being without having an agreed upon
Constitution in place first.

They understood that the real purpose of the Constitution was to police
the Government, not it's citizens.

The principles of the Constitution are timeless. Rights of the people and
limits of Government control.

They in their wisdom knew that such principles had to be set up as law.

The Government and other controlling elements have been waring against it ever sense.

Didn't your parents teach you about the Articles of Confederation? Or was it your pastor who declined to inform you about that part of our history.

Were you taught, like many on here apparently believe, that he constitution was delivered by God to the founding fathers on Mount Vernon when he gave them the "right" version of the Bible and a lifetime subscription to Poor Richard's almanac?

Check your facts before spouting off at the mouth, dipshit.

Notice that the patriots on one side of the mud hole didn't have the courtesy to correct you.

They are complicit in your misinformation. Liars.

Read the preamble.

Is our Constitution flawed? Without a doubt.
But it's still the best thing going.

An example of one of it's flaws, The Supreme Court.

A final say ruling body unelected by the people, holding
the position for life and prone to political and partisan
decisions on the Constitution (The supreme law of the land)

The greatest flaw in my opinion.

5 good examples.

Yeah the Constitution can be amended, there have been 27,
but that is part of the Constitution, the right to amend it. One could argue that even
the amendment process has flaws.

What would you like to replace our Constitution with Hiccup?

Maybe THE ARTICLES OF THE LIBTARDS SUPREME RIGHT TO RULE.

All that being said the Constitution is a guarantee of the rights of the people.
But it is still up to the people to retain their rights and sustain the Constitution.

A Neo Nazi or Communist (Hiccup) can even be elected as president
in this country, but they are still bound by the rule of law ( The Constitution)
