Johnson County KS

And here we have a perfect example of reality vs TV cop shows

DD, breaks it done, on how things work in reality

Whereas Copter knows his stuff because he watches all the TV cop shows.

Sorry Copter, but this was just ...well how did MW put it, "low hanging fruit" material

I bet MW was one of those school yard bullies, lol

And a happy green tea evening to all...even those mean bullies!!!

DD absolutely hits the nail. I left an incall many years ago only to get a call at home suggesting that it'd be in my best interests to meet with them. Seems they had the apartment under surveillance and they ran my tag. Met a nice young female detective in a parking lot. They had a lot of information. I confirmed what they obviously knew and begged ignorance on everything else (you'd be surprised how many providers have mug shots). Told her I appreciated her not being a bitch and left her car with a woody. Not quite as machiavellian as DD's accounts but it could've gone in a totally different direction if I'd elected to be a prick or they had. Found out later that they were after the pimp who'd apparently shot someone.

Just an idea, if you post some misleading information someone will always step-up to the plate. So my idea worked, now we all know who has a background in law. Or might have been in this position before. Knowledge is the key.
Thanks for all the information guys.
Intent is as soon as you pull into the parking lot of the hotel.
The Cities have police cars drive through parking lots of hotels taking photos of plates. This information was on he news last week. They are using this information to build a record and they keep this information for one year. They can match the plate to the phone by connecting names.
So the client makes a call or text, the police has the information to start their research. Now they wait for a car to pull into the parking lot, client name is flagged. You don't even have to get to the room. But they want you on tape makes a good court case.
The police can't release your information?

Gee, ever hear of JohnTV?

Or I dunno, read the police report in the paper?

Or looked at the joco booking photos?

Wow

I just think you gotta do the intel, expect the worse, and hope for the best. I don't know of any case of a guy getting busted seeing a well reviewed provider. LE plays their game, and we play ours.

They were the only 5 persons arrested, the others received citations requiring them to appear in court and face charges. But you can expect that all 30 of them will receive a letter in the mail, the letter will explain that your (the target) vehicle has been seen in parking lot of (hotel) or (residence) and that the hotel or residence is the target of an investigation, it will then provide you with information on std's, statistics on prositution and crime, just a whole bunch of neat info for the wife to read, Johnson county may not be doing that still, but Sgt. Dummit and his crew still do.

Big bother is watching; just hope he doesn't care about little old you.

Copter - nothing illegal with parking your car and nothing illegal with using your phone. They can have all that information in a data base and keep it for a hundred years and it means nothing.
That's like saying you parked your car in a bank parking lot and have phoned the bank on occasion so....you might be a bank robber. I don't think so....believe it or not but cops in big cities got better things to do.
