Reviews ... a comment for both the ladies & gents

Lucy,

Thanks that does and I really am interested in both hobbyist's and provider's take on this!

I firmly believe that YES and NO recommendation reviews are necessary and very important to the board! What I take issue with is Nasty though because as you said "if you're nasty, then the review is less likely to be useful because people might assume you have a personal axe to grind." I tend to believe that may be part of it but believe more strongly that it is a reflection of the person's persona and need to make the reviewer feel good about themselves at the expense of another. I personally find that disturbing and a negative reflection on the reviewer!

Thanks for your input! Thank everyone for your comments so far!

Johnny,

I couldn't agree more! Its a positive and very real discussion about something that has value!

There's no reason to be nasty. I've made this mistake many times and in my 40s I'm starting to mature and make it less. I can see how it happens, especially in this hobby where certain things can get personal quick, but nasty rarely yields nice.

I still fall into the 'all yes' reviews, not because I think I'm afraid to hurt feelings, but because I'm looking for a lot for minimal cash and to get it I have to offer tolerance.

My first prerequisite for a review is the lady's approval. She doesn't want it, she won't get it, unless its an alert or a no that y'all need. AMPs don't apply to this, they're more public.

Beyond that, I hold back a few reviews for all the girls' I see sake. If I'm talking about stanky pussy in the coed lounge, I don't want Sherlock Holmes figuring out whose got the stank based on my comments. I hope to never pay for PA, but I don't want my big mouth to affect others negatively.

Personally, I don't like the gushing positive reviews. I want to hear some caveats, some downside to even a fantastic encounter. Nobody's perfect and if your review claims she is I discredit it, not as much as a bitter nasty review but some.

Thanks for the thread DD, I think these discussions really improve our board. Originally Posted by JohnnyCap

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think we should see ros and comment. For a long time I didn't join this site due to that. On another site I got a glowing review and had to report it because it wasn't mine which I was able to tell from reading their public coed ros. Someone could be mad at you for only God knows why and lie about you in ros. Some scum bags threaten and black mail with a negative review, I started a thread about that.
I think if a girl tries, is clean, has a clean place, she is friendly, and doesn't start the upsell game (unless it's Greek which isn't an upsell it's an additional service) she should get a yes.
If she is just like"here I am just do me and kissing costs more" then hell yeah give her a no.
If I worked my ass off for someone (I truly do,it's my job)and he gave a no I would be furious. If you don't like me get the F out and don't waste my time.I don't need the money and I would rather swim or nap than go out of my way for someone that won't appreciate it.

Well I don't think guys/gals go out of there way to see a gal that they think they would not like just so to write a "no" review. Reason I tend not to read some review writers as tend ta over mmmmm sell a gal.

edit:Then one guys reviews he thinks she was just alright and does not understand the hype and gets killed by the WK's errrr wtf

This site is designed for entertainment purposes ONLY and the reality is that what is portrayed should reflect the author's experience. If you had a good experience and your expectations were met then you write a positive review. If they were not met, the lady was NOT who she portrayed herself to be (I don't like bait & switch or fake pics and will walk - No offense intended ladies but ... forgive me for expecting what I expect) or if things are rushed or the service are not what you are expecting or are just plain ... bad ... then a negative review SHOULD be written!!!

So ladies & gentlemen ... what are YOUR thoughts?

Ha, my reviews probably fall under this category. Not because I refuse to give out bad reviews though, it's just that so far on ECCIE I've been incredibly lucky to have a lot of great experiences. *Knock on wood* I did have a couple of bad experiences prior to being on ECCIE. Those would have definitely gotten a NO.

The only reason I haven't reviewed the last two ladies I've seen (Both GREAT experiences) is because I don't really desire PA at the moment. Originally Posted by MC

(Or vice-versa, obviously.) Someone who complains that she couldn't carry on a conversation very well might be of interest to someone who prefers to spend all their time "getting to it." me don't think you my type. but reviews say you are for others.

sometimes some guys don't do homework. sometimes lead astray from doing it.

SE,

I could not agree with you more.

If it isn't the lady in the pics and things turn out great then that is fantastic and a yes is what could be the end result of the review! I appreciate it when the reviewer points that out and I commend them for the honesty!

DD,
Each person who writes a review should be able to give a yes or no according to their own opinion and feelings.

It's tough for ladies to be picked apart so I'm not a fan of that but every girl can't be gorgeous and have pictures that don't do her justice. Ill never forget my experience with a top notch lady. The build up was unbelievable. I was disappointed when the door opened. Not because she was ugly either but the "body of a 20 year old" or "gorgeous" are subjective and now I almost glaze over all this type of stuff unless I've really gotten to understand the reviewer.

A no review from me most the time would be based on looks as superficial as that seems and I don't feel comfortable being that judgmental. Reviews are these women's livlihood and each guy is looking for something different looks wise (BBW, Milf, GND, young, spinner, etc) so back to my original point if TCB was good, location was pleasant and BCD was as advertised then its a yes, but wish we all (myself included) could be a little more forth coming with some things without seeming to be too critical. But DD is right we've all seen backlash from hobbyist and providers for being what many times seems to be fair and balanced reviews.

Mean spirited is another animal in itself that no one benefits from. If that's the route you're going to go just don't write it.

I like the sliding scale chart and have said before I like on TER that it adds a quantitative score with the qualitative review. Wish we had something like that her and ill take the proposed scoring if nothing else.

5 - What I wish life was all about
4 - Unbelievable I would repeat daily if I could
3 - Good time would repeat
2 - Average, issues present that make my return unlikely
1 - NO will not repeat!
0 - I should have stayed home! What the FUCK was I thinking!

Something like that?

This is going to an interesting thread.

When I look at a review, for the sake of considering the provider for a future date, I look at the following, not necassarily in order.

1) How was contact initiated? Eccie PM, P411, email, call or text
2) Does the provider have additional web sites they advertise on?
3) What is on the menu? GFE or not.
4) most importantly, how good was the sex?
5) does the client have similar taste as my self?
6) do the pics reflect my personal tastes?

To be honest, I don't pay attention if a provider has a "NO" review, if the vast majority are positive.

Also, I don't like sharing screening. Sometimes I think screening should not be included. We all need to know what were conforrtable with for screening, and just work the process. My slight paranoia of LE watching the site, I don't want to share the providers method of screening for fear of LE learning how to get to a lady.

When I look at a review of someone I also have visited and also like, I simply read it for entainment value, as well as give me ideas for what I may want to do.

As far as having recomendation catagories, I just think there should be more than yea or nay. I remenber reviewing someone the was not GFE. I really would not recommend to many , but I still gave a yes, because a no would be too harsh. I would prefer that the recommendation get removed from review criteria, then have to be a binary answer.

LFK,

Valid points all. As OSD pointed out and some have learned on their own, you can modify your yes by submitting the review and then going back and editing it!

Each of us has our own personal preferences and each of us, hobbyist and providers alike, have our own taste in the type of ladies/clients that we will see! And just as there are reasons that a hobbyist won't repeat with someone I can only imagine that there are a plethora of reasons that a lady won't see a client again - particularly if they were rude, disrespectful, demanding, or nasty!

All I can say is, each to their own!

But for what its worth, I can think of just one lady who had me at hello!

And sorry, just working your ass off can never be a guarantee of success. It shouldn't be, there's more to it than that. You're work ethic and talent bring you an overwhelming majority of approvals, an occasional no should be good. Who wants everyone to like them?
