First, I wasn't even trying to defend either the NRA or the TeaParty. Candy tried to imply that the dopey security guard was an NRA/Tea Party type. I pointed out that there was a substantial chance he was a minority (like most of the security guards in every building I have ever worked in) and therefore was more likely an Obama supporter - not a TeaWipe/NRA type.

Candy then tried to insinuate that I was some kind of racist for allegedly implying that minorities couldn't be TeaParty types or NRA types. I responded that that characterization wasn't mine, but rather was the stereotype alleged by every left winger on this board, including Candy and YOU.

Sorry, but you can't derisively refer to the TeaParty/NRA as "old, angry white men" in every thread related to them and then turn on a dime and pretend the TeaParty/NRA could be minorities when it suits your purpose. Then you're just a fucking hypocrite.

Talk about getting back on subject. There is nothing in this post that has anything to do with the OP. The OP was about a private security guard who left a weapon in a school restroom. He was not a policeman, he was not authorized to carry a firearm, it was claimed that he is a Tea Party member and a concealed carry holder but no proof has yet to be offered. So we have a doofus, race and party affilitation unkknown, who did something stupid.
