The Client List a Lifetime Movie

Just set my DVR. That way if Charles is right, I can just fast-forward through it for the eye candy.

It might be interesting, so I will keep an open mind.

I'll have the lube in one hand and the popcorn in another. Hope I don't get them confused! Originally Posted by cpi3000

Ladies, is the word "hooker" really that offensive?

From my perspective, a provider in a real sense "hooks" a client with the lure of sex. In that regard, the word seems natural and descriptive to me without being offensive.

This is not to say I am against offering just the physical, but to me the implication associated with the term "hooker" is that of manipulation or trickery (teehee, no pun intended!)

I do have a friend who is an escort who commonly refers to herself as a "hooker." No big deal if that's what she wants to call herself or others in the demimonde.

However, I guess the bottom line for me is that the majority of times I hear the term "hooker" used, there is negative energy associated with it. "Oh, she's just a hooker" is something I often hear living in Vegas. "JUST" a hooker? Sheesh. Likewise, the way Jennifer Love Hewitt used the term hooker included a look of disgust. (I'm sure it's You Tube search-able if anyone's interested. She said it on Leno.)

Lastly, am I the only one who views the word as a bit antiquated?

B/C I have had a SERIOUS thing for JLH since her days on "Party of FIVE"....Not much of an actress "HeartBreakers" (With Sigourney Weaver) and one of the "I Know what U did Last Summer" movies is about all I can remember her in...Both were VERY forgettable (BUT she did look HOT in both).....This the exact type program that Tivo was invented for....I can watch a 2 our movie in less than hour and half by FF thru commercials and slow parts..

I'm just glad they are making this line of work a little more realistic in portraying us not as a bunch of cracked out streetwalkers with pimps but as normal people trying to get by in the economy. Of course a lot still won't view it as such and miss that point entirely but hopefully some empathy can be found by members of the public if they realize we are not drugged out STD carriers. We are moms, college students, educated, etc...

Jennifer Love Hewitt welcomes your judgment of mom-turned-hooker in The Client List

Really? Would she welcome the judgment from our side/POV?
Wow, I was expecting some response but not this varied in opinions.

Im glad to hear all your point of views on this. I like how they are keeping it class for the most part. The one clip I saw was JLH arrested and coming out with her shirt undone and her bra on.

In one of the clips they are threating her with jail time and to take her kids away unless she gave up her so called list.

If you ladies had a list and you were busted would you give it up just to stay free and keep your family together or would you clam up and not say anything.

Im not trying to start anything im just curious, kinda reminds of the story they did on Madame Heidi Fliess when asked to reveal her client list
When questioned by British TV presenter Davina McCall about revealing the names of her clients, she replied; "It's not my style".

It will be interesting to hear you comments for the ones that watched it after it airs.

Have a good one and play safe

Dear Rae,

I think you and I should get together and watch this Mystery Science Theatre 3000 style - make up our own dialogue (and possibly our own "stunts"). We could probably make a more interesting show and you would be a much more alluring leading lady.
I wonder if there is a quick flight to JVille from St. Louis? (or vice versa)
by my god that ass in the avatar is wonderful.. might that be yours and is a showcase avail. if that indeed is yours you must post the oic in thread "ladies show us your ASSets" it is stunning
I'll be watching it too, I already scheduled myself off for the evening! lol. I liked her until I heard the hooker and toftt comments she made. Bitch. Its amazing the things that come out of "outsiders" mouths about this subject sometimes Some of us are working on bachelors degrees, hell some of us are working on masters, some of us do work at places where free drinks and viagra are offered, and some of us do smack our gum like we're livestock.... There are many different 'types' to me and sometimes I wonder if 'outsiders' see it that way or if they think that we are all the same. Did anyone see the Tyra (i hate her show but i wanted to watch this episode) episode called Porn Town where they had different types of providers on and they had to all take a role in the town?... there was everyone from a bunny ranch girl to an escort, to a stripper, to a street walker... and they had to decide who was going to be the mayor, lawyer, teacher, criminal, etc. I thought it was really interesting to see how they all thought for thier own reasons that they were so much better than the others girls..... Was not trying to get off topic, just a thought that came to me =) Originally Posted by AmberXoXo

First of all, I am single--never married, no SO, no children. Well, I have a few handsome little pups who I call "my boys." I couldn't imagine being put in a situation where there was a threat of anyone I love being taken away from me.

Secondly, I would be hesitant to believe that if I outed my clientele, it would really protect my family and me or assure that we would not be torn apart. The more involved I become in SW rights, the more stories I hear that are so heartbreaking and unbelievable. But they are real. So my gut instinct, along with my conscience, would tell me to not say a word or share any information about anyone.

Lastly, I see very few gents so I have no need to keep a list. (I do have a mailing list but that is not a list of clients, just people who are interested in receiving updates about my travels and etc... ) In any event, once again, it's a very hard question to answer since I can't really relate and I would have nothing to offer lol.

That said, I will be sure to watch the movie tonight and probably Tweet throughout while enjoying my crudité platter.

I would see JLH if she was a provider ... She is definitely a turn-on as far as looks go!
However, she would probably a HDH and have a very snotty attitude ... so maybe I wouldn't see her.
I will save you all the two hours of torture I endured , and sum it up in a nut shell. JLH thinks that because she was born pretty, and owns a tiara that the world owes her a good life. Her, and the husband are idiots when it comes to finances ( yes ARM's usually adjust up not down)so she accidentally takes a job at a massage parlor/brothel( such a common accident) She throws up ,and from there spends most of her money on stupid things like toys/jewelry/ new Harley for the husband, etc proving that it was not the economy that got them in trouble in the first place, but their own sense of self entitlement.

JLH uses coke because she is working long hours now to make payments on the husbands new Harley, gets arrested, decides that it is not enough that her own life has been ruined, so she offers up a list of all of the clients who may have made a name for themselves .Ironically there are 69 men on the list( now that was the humorous portion of the movie ha ha ha how clever)

Ok, we are down to the last ten minutes of a Lifetime movie, so it is time to wrap things up.JLH realizes that she is a very bad person. Not because she is a self centered, self entitled, financial idiot who sold out most of her clients, and brought drugs in to an area that could easily have been raided at any time.No JLH is a bad person because she accidentally( happens all the time) took a job at a massage parlor.

And, after they did a short sale on the house screwing up everyone elses property values they lived happily ever after,

The end

From Lifetime and JLH, that just about figures, Becky. And no nudity or sex either, I suppose.

She did walk away rather "too easily" from the money and the accoutrements that went along with that lifestyle.

I'll have to contact the producers and let them know they can do the "unretirement" sequlet and cover the Internet end of the escort scene.

[total bullshit lies] Jennifer was doing research and I agreed to be her client so she could find out what it was really like. Since the movie was studio based, I let her know that the fee was only $100 per session in studios and that she really wouldn't get the true understanding unless we did it about a dozen or so times.
