I don't get it what reason would they have for being upset about whiting out the background of a picture to make it look better. How does that effect anybody in any way negatively. I can't even think of a reason it would effect the photographer negatively. If they take a picture and you alter the picture by whiting out the background that doesn't diminish the need for a girl to get more pictures taken in the future from the photographer it actually increases the chance of the girl getting more photos because it increases the uses of the photos taken. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but the value of a photo is in the person photographed and what you do with the photo not in the photo itself. I can make a million copies online but clicking copy over and over and so can everyone else. I just don't get it. Can you explain it to me because my head hurts from trying to understand and I just start feeling dumber and dumber as I try. Originally Posted by Zimmie6942yeah, you really don't get it.

We used to always say that some of the best photo printers (when hand printing was done) were not photographers. They were good at printing but not good at shooting. Good photographers could take a great photo but they weren't always the best printers. Now, with digital, most of us have been forced to be both a photographer and image processor. Obviously, you are NOT a photographer. Originally Posted by pornodave69

Slighty aside, I am actually surprised that all images on this board are not protected from being saved by viewers. Originally Posted by Yxes

Once a pic is posting on the web it is literally a free for all and a waste of time to try and protect anything. I have created 100,000 of mattress ads and they are copied and used for a lot of our competitors. Being a thief in the furniture business is how most of our competition stays alive. Your work is really only your work until someone copies it and you have to come up with new work. real world lesson 101. Originally Posted by Zimmie6942No, it's not a "free for all."
