It is probably easier for you to take the dog to the doctor than running around to get meds. Dosing and things are probably way different. My cat is a tiny little idiot.

True. Plus the different species could be a factor. Hell my dog is a medium sized horny mutt.

I used to hate coming home at 2 In the morning after work to see him out of the backyard and on the front porch waiting for me.

He would have that silly dog smile that would say " hey, while you were out working all night I jumped the fence, went out and scored."

And btw you could say I'm medium too I'm not very tall (5'5)

Missing teeth, bad scratches, still sore. He's all doped up right now so they can clean him.

^^^ so what they do and how much did it run you? I found one that isn't too far. Originally Posted by mr666

PetCare Express is very reasonable. Office visit is like 10 dollars.... i used their Holcombe location when my dogs face got ripped open. Your dog will need antibiotics immediately. They will usually prescribe cephalexin and cipro... its the same antibiotic prescribed for people, so if you have some or know someone who does, its ok for your dog to take. The dog will also need a antibiotic shot to speed up the process. Make sure the wounds and scrapes are free of debris with peroxide. Infection sets in super fast on dogs Originally Posted by Roxy Malone

2 hours... dang!!! My wait was around 15 minutes
It was a Saturday, and I didn't take her first thing in the morning. That's probably why. I think it's hit or miss because I've taken her there several times for other things and was in and out in 30 minutes before....
