Mob mentality

Bickering is one thing... but i think that instead of calling this a mob mentality, we being in buffalo are more familiar with it as being known as "bandwagoning". We often find our selves either jumping on the wagon, or hitting our ass's as we jump off it, often led by someone who we either dont know at all or know a little, making a blanket statement, that then gets completely blown out of proportion. It comes down to how we treate information that is posted, and if we blindly take it as fully factual, partially factual, or completely false. There is interepretation to everything... Mobs have no individual ability to interpret information... it is a following, a blind journey to follwo the person in front of you with little concern or ability to discern for yourself right from wrong.
we need to interpret the information posted for ourselves, and make the decision for ourself.. otherwise we trun into a bunch of damn lemmings....

It doesn't matter who you believe.........I am often in the minority opinion (go figure).........You would be amazed at the information that comes out when a thread is allowed to cut loose.

Houston has a thread with more than 400 posts and working toward 7000 views..........lurkers are able to view board personalities and decide who they trust for their information

The numbers don't lie.

When some dipshit writes that a provider called him about some issue in a review or private area thread............much is revealed just in that acknowledgement.........you can learn a lot from watching the way people line up on a divisive issue.........and in answer to the PM question.......yes.........but , it is a double edged sword due to where you gleened the information.

Fortunately, some people are the same in person as they appear on the board.........I'm just saying.
Fair enough. I apologize for taking your words the wrong way. Originally Posted by China Doll
