Nuts . . . lug nuts . . . Keep 'em tight . . .
Cars are super sexy. A well built machine is very hot and an experienced driver is important. I know my way around a straight drive. Has anyone driven a stick that's been converted into electric. Holly crap, they handle sooo much better. It goes from all about the transmission to all about the drive shaft

I use to work for the gentlemans (Alois Ruf Sr.)brother-in-law here in OKC....I was one of two people that worked in the office on the weekends, so when his sister and brother-in-law came from Germany to pay him a visit, they came to the office to take him out to lunch, and I was invited along.

Now talk about sexy cars! I rode in a RUF 3400s in 1998, which was a year before it was released. Here's a picture of the model and the color of car I got to ride in.

My boss said he got to drive it on the autobahn and how amazing it handled...Speed is very sexy....it's too bad I wasn't there for that!
This is one of the most beautiful mid engine sports cars in the world! I bet you had fun that day.
Mid engine sports cars have a shorter drive shaft. Shorter drive shaft=better curve hugging.
Yeah, but like I said, I didn't get to drive it...just a short ride.

But I DO LOVE curve hugging!
Just being in the passenger seat can be fun. I've made a mess of a few passenger seats.
Ruf's are very expensive and the owner underestimated your abilities. That's okay, you will have other opportunities.

The most important part would have to be the selection of who's going to crawl under it to help you check the u-joints. Now who wants to help with the restoration of my 69 opal 1900 gt
I'm partial to European sports cars but America did produce some amazing machines in the 60's.
Actually the opal was built in germany using a chassis built in france designed by the chevy designers that designed the corvett sting ray and sold by GM buick dealers only about 3500 built and sold world wide.

Yes leather is nice. Vinyl works too, like a 1978 firebird. Red with white interior and T-tops. Mm mm
