Sometimes it is nice so it does not totally surprise others.I can recall a few whom left without a word.Some make an announcement which is a nice gesture.I know sometimes it does not work out but posting a retirement post every few months gets old.After awhile you just tune it out.I know I have retired a time or two myself.Now I just go on hiatus with an option to return at a later date TBD.
