Tattoos?

I think it's ridiculous that people judge others because of the art on their skin. If it is done tastefully, whether it's one tattoo or a bunch, it doesn't mean the girl is trashy in the least bit. I am the farthest thing from "trashy" and I have a good amount of tattoo. I like the way it looks and I like art. Enough said. Originally Posted by AngelaKharma

It's not a matter of judging someone with tatoos as "trashy", it's that some of us just find them downright unattractive. We older gents think a woman's body is a piece of art unto itself. Ink belongs on paper framed on the wall, not on your body. If you are happy with your inkwork then that is your personal choice. However it is just as much our perogative to not appreciate the media as it is yours to indulge in it. Such is the subjective nature of any artform.

Couldnt upbringing also have a little bit to do with it? While growing up I was never told or saw that my family disapproved of tattoos, then again I can only remember very few family members with tattoos but yet these family members where very much loved and the tats were looked right past. I was never told, "You better never get a tattoo, because tattoos are for bad people like (please forgive me on this) bikers and foul mouthed sailors, and so help me if you do ever get a tattoo youll be disowned from the family!" Yikes with something like that, tats would have been off my list a long time ago as Im sure others would conform to such strict and wholesome upbringing. Just thoughts though, as the generations pass the "wholesome" factor deteriorates and a new tastes emerge out of past, dare I say, taboos. But I like the way mister Foxtrot said it,

Well said sir.

Tats don't bother me nearly as much as they used to. In fact, I am extremely impressed by some of the artwork that these artists create. Some are amazing. By the same token, I've seen some horrendous tats which were obviously done by amateurs and I'd have to question anybody's reasoning for allowing an amateur to ink them up. It's an individual's expression and all of that but sometimes I can't help but wonder how some of these are going to look years from now and whether these people ever question their decision.

But overall, I don't particularly care what someone does to their body. Different strokes for different folks and all that jazz...

One thing that I *do* like about gals with tats is that the more ink-work they have, the easier it is to get them out of their clothes to show you their art.

Plus, I have a huge thing for guys with tattoo's hehe Originally Posted by AngelaKharma
