Johnny, I....as I am sure most Eccie posters totally agree...the there is no place for racial slurs.

I honestly feel that what drove viewers to those threads were not people who approve of the racial nonsense.

And of course, I am sure, where many will disagree with me is the "act like adults" thinking. IMO, adults don't always act properly and polite. Wish we lived in a world where it was...but it isn't.

No room at all for racial stuff....but I would let basically the folks act like adults...and sometimes it ain't pretty.
But I'm not the one making those calls...and thank god for that one, I'll have another drink for that one.

I never said points should have been handed out. I do respect you and yep, you and I might disagree a bit on this. The idea that high thread view count is money in someone's pocket doesn't make it right. Weren't there a few racial slurs at mex? That's just plain wrong no matter how many views it gets. It's been other guidelines that have been violated lately. You have repeated "can't we act like adults?" Isn't that what the guidelines are directed at? so i am for closing threads to try to get some civility. Maybe a point can be made that a thread should not have been closed, but big deal, start a new one.

So sorry to anyone who I may have offended it was not personal, just trying to let people know where I stand in a civil manner. I do understand that we are all adults here and have a right to our own opinion as well as making our own decisions.
I do my best to be polite and give a reasonable opinion and explain why I feel how I feel no matter what the situation is.. but I am only human and get hot headed too sometimes.

Yep. I've said it before - for some people, this board is a nice resource for the hobby. For others, this board has BECOME the hobby.
