If a rate increase caused you to be beyond his budget, would you want him to tell you that? If you're no longer in his range, would you still want him to stay in touch? I just look at it as them outgrowing me as a client... If she is curious about why I would tell her if she asked but it's not something I would ever bring up on my own.
Have any of you ladies ever considered having a male friend call that long lost client for you? Would be far safter than you calling and a guy might be more forthcoming with another guy.
