I have it on good authority from a source in the know that a certain 80's-90s vintage newswoman used to sleep with a certain chief of police in exchange for certain reporter-type privileges. Kind of along those same lines really. Instead of money changing hands, it was in the form of career assistance. I'll never divulge exactly who it was, but my source is 100% trustworthy, i.e. family.Has nothing to do with the size of the town, but instead the size of the mouth. Thus the saying of WWII, "Loose lips sink ships."
I also am in possession of letters and photographic evidence that a certain newsman of the 90's vintage had a fondness for a certain type of gentlemen that were shall we say, down on their luck. I am sure that his present station would not be appreciative of that ever getting out.

Both these chicks were big time bar flys in their younger days and Harris liked to frequent one of our local strip clubs I am not going to say I did, but ........... this was back when she was banging Phil (nit) Witt. Originally Posted by dirty dog

Growing up here and busting out of my teenage years gave me a great education on the inner workings of this place. I've been waaaay too many places that I had no business being and usually went back for more. It began as a river town and in some ways is still that same place. Vegas is the same way. I lived there 15 years and it's a small town at times. Many parts of it are still boots, sawdust, and red light districts as much as glitz, lights, and glamor.
