Good to know.....A date can't be over if it never started.
What happens if you are 15 minutes late being ready? Originally Posted by Chica Chaser

Mary Beth, I think this is far less clear cut than you make it out to be. If I arrange to spend a couple hours with a lady--say from 8 to 10 PM--I think it makes a big difference whether it is at her place or mine. If i get stuck in traffic, lost, etc., and I arriv at 8:20 I would expext to still see her from 8:20 until 10:00. Yes, it would be nice if I called, but sometimes it isn't safe to do while looking for where to turn.

I would have minimally inconvenienced her since it is at her place. She obviously would not owe me the 20 min I was late, if she decided to extend the end time that would be strictly her call. But cancelling totally I would consider very wrong.

Now if she was coming to me and I was 20 min late, then I would be far more inclined to agree with you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're saying its wrong to cancel a date due to someone being late and not notifying a reason (good or bad)?

If that is what you're saying then I totally agree. This thread was in response to a "gentleman" stating that of a provider is as little as 15 minutes late then he will cancel the date.

Of course if we book a 1 hour date and I'm late then I only expect to be paid for the time left. Now, if you allow me to entertain you for the agreed hour I may even be as greatful as to make up for my tardiness.

I know guys can only sneak away for a short time usually. Time is valuable for them as it is for providers.

I may not be the best whore out there (and yes, I do see myself as mediocre at best; take it how you will) but I understand there's only so many hours in a day.

Now if I am going to the soup kitchen to eat, then I suppose it is quite likely I will not eat if I am late. A lot of soup can get ladled in 15 minutes.

You're in the wrong business.

. . . You should work at a government agency. You'd fit right in among an office full of crabby people, but poorly suited as a provider.
