Does this turn you on?

umm why did I get points for a picture I pointed out to you guys? That was a screenshot I took of the friend finder ad on the border for my screen. If it violates image guidelines, perhaps you should have a talk with them! I was wondering why everytime I log in there is some random chick in the AFF ads frigging herself... I understand it's a screen shot of our sponsor Daphne so to leave that infraction wouldn't be right therefore it's reversed. My apologies for the tardiness on removing it I've actually been away from the keyboard to answer real world happenings.

Also I've done a bit a research here......I'll give you the difference of the image using between our sponsor ad's and showcases/provider ad's. The sponsor ad's are using these images to sell porn while which is perfectly legal. Using these sort of images in provider ad's and showcases would be using it to sell ass which is illegal.

Mojojo's apology is highly commendable, even for the secondary reaction.

Now, if it was indeed a mistake to remove the graphic Daphne posted, how about putting it back....so that we could continue with the intellectual discussion as to the efficacy of it?

What's crazy is the sponsors can show porn directly and sell porn openly but members can't even post a link to a porn video.

Sarunga the image was an attachment so ill wait for LD to send it back so that I can put it back on.

You guys might want to actually think before you post...

#12 - Respect the posted "Image Standards" which apply to our public coed forums. (including Showcase) In short, images which depict subjects which are topless are allowed, but below the waist nudity which displays exposed genitalia or images depicting pornography are to be avoided. Additionally, posting URL links to external sites depicting pornography is not permitted. (use RTM to report images which you feel may not be in compliance)

Where does it say anything about a difference between pornography being legal and prostitution being illegal? It says exposed genitalia or pornography isn't to be shown in public forums. That's it.

Under the rule, it's perfectly okay to say that the ads are not pictures posted in public coed forums and hence aren't covered by then rule. However, once a member posts the picture of that ad in a public coed forum, it becomes a violation. There's no room for interpretation in the rule as written, no matter what you may think. If you don't want to give points because its a picture from your own ad section, that's fine, your call, but the image is still in violation of the forum guidelines...

It's not a rule it's a guideline. Look it up they don't have the same meaning.

"are to be avoided". That's a grey statement. If it was written 'are not to be permitted" as it is for porn links it would be different.

The bottom line is really about the bottom line. Members aren't supposed to post porn or links to it to protect the boards business of selling advertising space to porn sites.

Thanks Mojojo for reversing her points. I have seen the same photo and similar nude photos, popup on the side. I didn't understand why she got points for taking a screen shot and posting it.
