Fun things to do in SA....

Meant to say south town.

Hill country... I'll be your tour guide.

I haven't been myself yet but I always love going to the zoo in any big city. They usually have lots of animals rather than empty cages like zoos in smaller towns. Library is fun if u like to read. Flea markets if they have those here. Any kind of amusement paek or place with things I can ride like roller coasters Six Flags.......

Haven't been to SA Zoo in yrs.

I like Bussey'sflea market up I35 north of Schertz. I can spend a couple of hours there on a Saturday morning performing stuffed animal rescues and havinga beer or two with a sausage on a stick.

don't forget sa has a trader's village like dallas and houston. down 410 west south.

six flags and sea world both have shows for halloween and christmas. the riverwalk does for christmas.

sa is considered one of the most bike friendly cities in america with parks, trails, etc.

(this is not a dig at women, men shop to)
I35 north at san marcos has the outlets, lots of shopping

like some of the others said, you have the texas hill country, lots of little town to wander through, fredericksburg, blanco, boerne, wimberly, canyon lake, new braunfels, etc.

if you like bbq, you can always visit lockheart and luling

sa usually has some festival or event going year round. if it's a fiesta, niosa, beer crawl in southtown, a boat parade on the river walk,etc.

When all else fails.
