How do you feel about this?

I despise pimps as much as anyone, but a scheduler at an agency ain't a pimp as far as I'm concerned. As long as the agency is up front about it I don't see any problem whatsoever. Maybe that's what this thread is really about.....letting the mutts know in advance so they don't freakout when the man answers.. Originally Posted by Don T. Lukbak

If its an agency and it is also known in advance that the scheduler is a male, who's only job is to set the girls times with her clients...then I see no problem with that. It's not like he's also doubling as her driver...that is...unless that happens to be the case.

I don't want to talk to a guy.

..............however when I used to schedule with Wildflowers, I usually talked to Billy to set things up. Also, I never minded scheduling with either Junior, Chalino, or Amazing John.............however this (for the most part) was a far different day and time. Originally Posted by DEAR_JOHN

If its an AGENCY then again...I take no issue with that.

Now if it's a provider who presents herself as an independent who has some third leg answering the phone for her?...I don't want any part of that.

I want to see a woman provider and expect to talk to a woman to scheudle it. If you were going in for a bikini wax and a dude answered would you really want to schedule?Even if he wasn't the one doing the service?

That is really bad business. Your phone will not ring very long.
I thinck the bigger issue is he 'used to work for a large real estate firm', now can't find a job in Houston for over a year, and had to work night shift at Mickey D's and........ whew................ you want to know if we would be bothered if he answered your phones ?

I have one more question; Have you always been a girl? Cheers

Not just any guy. I think you should hire Kasey Casem to answer your phones. Or that guy on youtube with the golden voice. Those guys need jobs, too.
I appreciate all the candid replies. Not only did this thread help me make my decision, it also helped soften the blow when I told him that having a man answering the phone is a bad idea. The poll numbers are pretty clear.

Thanks again.
If I'm not mistaken I think some of the most popular agencies in Houston have been run by males who answered the phone.

There's a huge difference between a "pimp" and a legit agency. As long as the agency is legit and they have hot girls with great service and tcb skills I could care less if the screener/booker is male or female.

I'm not calling to have phone sex with the manager, I'm calling to get my appointment set in a timely and efficient manner.
posting some pics or creating a showcase may also help with some responses as well.......

PS: I don't think what's in your signature line is allowed. might want to check the mod's. But hell answering the phone for 15 hrs a week for 8 grand hmmm.lol

Slight correction.... the $8,800 looks to me more about escorting than phone answering.

$8,800/60 hours (4 work weeks) = slightly less than a buck fifty an hour. Not bad considering that the agency is doing most of the upfront work.

That said, I totally agree with those above annotating the efforts the legitimate agency (and spa) gents in times gone by. we had more than a few of them in SA and Austin and I knew some also in Dallas.
