The thread for people who don't write reviews and those who wish to discuss them

Damn NotQuiteHighRed, I'm not irritable or angst driven, this is the fucking internet, it's not worth it. But it IS the creative writing destination from hell. All you guilty thin skinned fuckers who know you're shirking need to lay off the name calling, PrettyFuckingMarvelous non-logic psychobabble/analysis and justification and take your spankings like the men you aren't. Holy fuck, just man up and join the team or be a fucking opinionated waterboy, your call, nothing more.
Hmmm...think I'll start putting my Activities in the ROS from now on in my reviews. Just say: See ROS.

Why should I tell you non-reviewers what she did for me when you won't tell me what she did for you?

I'd like an answer. Seriously.

Ok, sorry. I've derailed this thread as much as anyone. Let me relate a very recent experience that I think is on point.

Reviewed a new provider to the area today. Great session. Could become a regular thing for me. Hope she stays low volume, as she says is her intent.

She is putting herself out there for a reason, however. She wouldn't join this board if she didn't. She wouldn't be asking for reviews if they didn't serve her purpose. Similarly, I get something out of it since over the years my willingness to share information has yielded positive returns to me in the form of back channel intel, entre into situations I might not otherwise get, etc.

We all have agendas in this hobby. Positive reviews serve providers' agendas as well as our own.

Hope that is more on topic.

This is a great topic. As you may notice, I only have one review and have been here 2 years. I do not do reviews and do not plan to do any that detail my escapades. However, I believe that I contribute to this site.

1. I pay for my access. After all, it is money that keeps this thing running.
2. I happily offer assistance to someone if they have questions
3. I have referred quite a few gentlemen to ladies I thought they would enjoy.

I do not do reviews as I have issues with kissing and telling. I will be happy to share my info with anyone who may need it. It is my belief that you need a good mix of people that pay for access, people that review for access, and ones that do both. As for the lurkers, I think more would come forward if they did not get smashed, flamed, or otherwise abused when they do. There will always be some freeloaders, just like in society but, remember that contributions to the site come in many forms.

Maybe off topic again, but thanks to Adabear and others who pay for PA so guys like me don't have to. I don't think the rest of us express that appreciation as often as we should.

I have not, nor will I ask someone about a review, for them to share the ROS with me or anything else that is considered private in this community, I figure if I really want to know, I will either get out the CC or do a review of a provider I have seen recently.
phildo! phildo! phildo! What's up, man?! Dude, you've been an angry m&therf$cker,
as of late. You know my man, sometimes, for those of us that've been around awhile, the same old threads (disease checks, nc/ns, pimps, screening, reviewing, retardedness, etc.) just gets old. You strike me as a guy who's entered the "I'm sick and tired of the same old shit" zone.

Don't pile on! Unpile! ...or pile off even! Sir, you are a respected poster. I've always respected you. I just miss the phildo of old. Whatever you gotta do homey...where's your joy amigo?

Prolongus, stay cool man. I read your posts.

EasyLover214, I nominate your for one of the coolest m$therf&ckers to join up this year. Period.

TinMan, you're still the guy who's posts most resemble my thoughts. You have a standing tip-of-the-hat in my book. And I think I'm going to review again, even tho I hope you find me as one of those who's posts are still valuable to the community, outside of reviewing.

NHRed, as I mentioned in the other thread, you're gonna take heat. You sound like btony. You came around right as he exited. You musta been a serious, serious lurker because you spout a lot of knowledge without being around long. I don't know you, but you'd be better served to respect the time spent by others here, and not feel pressed to post something on every thread available. I mean seriously, your post count is rediculous, and we're not even outta October, your membership month. Just sayin...

Not sure if Dallas follows that requirement or not but I'd bet they do.

As for posting reviews or not. Obviously I do post reviews now and then and don't just do them for the credit. (I have been allowed in the past to donate some extra PA credit to a member who I respect when he can contribute.)

The number 1 reason I will post a review is if it failed to meet expectations. And that can mean if she has fake or misleading photos or if the services were not what was expected.

The 2nd reason would be if she is new or does not have any other reviews or just 1 or 2 and asks for one to obtain her Verified Status. Sadly there are a lot of guys who promise to do so yet never do and they have already taken advantage of the review rate but never hold up their side of that deal. (That needs a whole new thread for the ladies to post the handles in so new girls can see who NOT to give discounts for reviews)

If a provider hasn't had a review in a while I tend to do one because we all know reviews should be current and in this world things can change quickly for many factors.

I know that the issue of replies to reviews has been beaten to death before but I still think that by not allowing them, a person who would rather just say, yeah, I saw her and she was great, would then need to post a review and the volume of reviews might increase.
Excellent post, LL. More reasons to give reviews that weren't mentioned before.
I have actually seen guys type "See ROS"...whether they got credit or not, I don't know.
I apreciate the guys that review and have done some reviews. I kind of got gun shy after posting a review and getting blasted by the provider. Funny part it was a yes review. It actually caused me a little trouble when booking a new girl. I now try to help guys out and contribute as opportunity presents itself. I will still do a review but only occasionally.

I just remembered another reason I stopped doing reviews on the old board. There was always the "Rockefeller" group in the locker room who wanted to make everybody pay or not allow members who don't review, who essentially wanted to make the site their exclusive club.

Of course, they never considered the fact that most ladies get the majority of business; in all likelyhood from those don't pay or write reviews, or even officially join the site. I just got tired of the arrogance and condescension.

I am very private with my sessions but from the feedback I am getting as of late it seems to hurt your rep. and cred. Based in what I have learned, it is best to review!!

I have no problem with putting "see ROS" in the activities field for review approval.
A well written ROS goes a long way in approval, but you must still have a date and a fee and a description. "October" is not a date, it is a month, "see ad" is not a fee, and "looks like her showcase pics" is not a description.

I would agree with that it takes a mix to keep things going. but without reviewers would anyone be here posting?
