This is a HUGE frustration for me with some ladies. A lot of the ladies that are supposed to be good providers and should be giving out references do not or take forever.

2. Money not hers-just because he is using you as a reference and you do not give it does NOT mean he will come running back to you. It probably means you did the opposite and screwed yourself out of a potential repeat and more money.

4.Jealous-I always love then this word comes up bc I can preach what I always do. There is NO reason to be jealous in the hobby. Most guys like variety (hence them being in the hobby). Also guys HAVE DIFFERENT TASTE!

If you want to be a successful provider give references ladies. It is a must. A small little thing that take you far in the hobby. I will put in language most providers will listen to you will make more MONEY if you do.

My deepest apology if I forgot anyone hard to remember or find everyone. I just wanted to maybe help the gents out. Like someone said it would be easier and quicker if they know which of the ladies they have seen is good for giving quick references. Now there are a LOT of ladies that give good references that I have heard of not on my list I just have never had to use them. There is also a LONG list of ladies who just flat out won't even reply at all but, I will leave that list off here lol. I also have a list that I will not accept references from for various reasons....known drug addicts, reckless acting on or off the board, have screwed up references with me before (reference for a totally different guy just because) etc.

I personally will ALWAYS give a reference within 24 hours UNLESS I am ill or have RW stuff going on. The last thing I say on any new date that has went well (all here in SA) is "Please feel free to use me as a reference."

I keep my own list... If I notice a girl hasn't been responding to previous PMs about references, I will ask for another reference.

Candi, maybe do alternate screening? I've had guys send copies of their ID and paystubs (sensitive info blocked out) to help verify.

As for reasons why someone wouldnt give references....aggravating yes BUT a girl does have that right, and even though usually yes they are being greedy and ill intentioned, there can still be real reasons. Ive seen girls who are great ladies who chose not to give references, simply because they might not save info and dont want to be liable. Also remember for those of us who travel, keeping up with references checks for 20+ states can get confusing sometimes for sure. Although yes still I manage and help out my fellow sisters everywhere, always thought that was just part of the hobby.

Most af all, Thanks for the gals who pmmed me with reminders of those who dont give reference. Kind what I was fishing for also. Me verifying someone through means other than references is'nt a pronlem, but it is when thats the info a gentlemen gives me, so Im spending time typing up requests for no reasons, when I could be exploring other avenues for info needed.
I can definitely deal with using other methods...just feel like a moron when Im not getting responses and holding A gentlemen up sometimes only to find out later from a girlfriend here..."oh so and so does not give references, she never responds.." and find out thats common knowledge. Very frustrating!

Well, this has been an on-going issue since the internet hobby world started.
Sure in a perfect world, everyone would answer every ref request with gratitude and
in a timely manner. Fortunately my regulars will always give a reference.

So if it has not been said before, the best ladies in this hobby world always give out
refs. And they usually get refs from the other ladies in return. The ones that ignore these
requests, usually end up with less appointments too ???? JMHO.

A yahoo group, or some sort of "off the board" list would be beneficial for the ladies on eccie.

Obtaining References from Providers has always been a problem . IMHO, majority of the time it is jelousy.

Lady gets a reference request, Lady contacts the gentleman and offers him discount to see her instead. Sad but true. Mostly practiced by newbies and high volume ladies. Especialy when rent is due!

I have been a provider for many years and I personally do not rely on other providers to screen a gentleman. I prefer P411, Date Check, google, reviews, posts.... My preffered method of screening is a phone conversation.

Another reason to get a home base, a good reputation which seems to be a given for you, and get a bunch of local and traveling in regulars. You mentioned in another post somewhere that you consider yourself not high volume, which by your numbers you said, is true compared to many others, seems that San Antonio could be just that, I'm not totally up todate on the monies running in SA, I know that it is not funded like Austin, Houston, and DFW, but should have enough to satisfy. I definitely think that's true Francisca. Thankfully I've been very blessed with my clients and haven't had any issues.

The jealousy thing I do not understand at all. They aren't ours just like we aren't theirs. Well, let me take that back. We are theirs and they are ours for a moment. When we aren't in each others presence though we shouldn't be possessive over eachother. I've had guys see me one time and then never again and guys that have seen me multiple times. I'm not going to get offended if Candi asks me for a reference of one of my regulars though. I'll send the reference and wish him the best of times!

Oh and no absolutely on that part, this is Not something to be done like that, hence why I pointed that out in the end of my first paragraph =) That'd be a mess! Just fishing to see if its been done or would work.

It is just that when I started reading the thread it really depressed me as I have been thinking about this.

I know in the past that screening was not really that much practiced. But being lucky enough to be graced by the presence of these lovely Ladies, it really turned my stomach by listening to the experiences they have had with guys with despicable intent. And it happens ALOT!

The women of this board should redouble their efforts to extend vouches. The reasons not to should be placed on a back burner to the priority of the womens safety.

If you PM from P411 to schedule / request an appointment with a provider, the provider will most likely give you a positive reference that is on file with your profile on P411, of course that depends on your session and behavior etc.

Many of the girls will take that as some satisfaction that you are an OK person, some girls take steps beyond that and contact the provider directly.

Some times you have to remind the provider that you saw to put a OK on your profile, any provider that you request from the P411 site will be able to look at your profile and find out how many OK references you have and from what provider that gave you references. Once you have a few especially in one local area, it really flows. So you might get asked for references or not, I have found in the past that once you have one or two you hear nothing. I'm not a player anymore with the providers, but pretty sure that what applied in the past still holds true today, and in fact probably even more since the younger generation in general is lazier than previous generations, and won't take the extra step to verfly beyond P411.

(Disclaimer: LOL, Note not all the younger generation is lazy, just in general compared to previous generations)

Thank you sooo much for the lovely compliment!! Yes, I try VERY HARD to provide the most detailed and complete reference as I can... and while, it may take me awhile to return all my emails and pm's in regards to appointment requests... it usually only takes me a few hours to do a reference check.

However, ON THE PLUS side, I do give the MOST DETAILED reference of any provider in Texas... 99% of the time I can tell the provider what size condom you may need... A lot of the ladies have been known to see one of my men based on just a reference from me... Why? Because I am so detail oriented and everyone knows that you do not get to see me without giving me a minimum of two references...

Because of my new form I am able to provide a complete detailed description of you, a list of the references that gave you an ok... and then I include my own personal experience with you and along with what I think they might enjoy about you...

It is completely illogical to be jealous in regards to providing references... in 2010 there was approximately 1.3 MILLION PEOPLE in San Antonio and of that number 650,000 of those are MEN!! Now, let's assume that only 1% of the male population HOBBIES on occasion...that breaks down into roughly 6500 MEN WHO HOBBY IN SA!!

Now, this basic calculation DOES NOT take into account the surrounding areas like New Braunfels, San Marcus, Austin, Boerne etc... and it does not take into consideration men who VISIT San Antonio due to vacation or business...

Right now there are approximately 209 providers listed in San Antonio... Now, let's assume we have 50 TOURING LADIES each week... that means that there are ONLY 260 PROVIDERS to take care of 6500 HOBBYISTS...Therefore, jealousy is completely illogical.

In my OPINION this is the PERFECT PLACE for this discussion!! Nothing could be more RELEVANT to both HOBBYISTS & PROVIDERS then whether or not a provider is REFERENCE FRIENDLY!! Like Candi, I oftentimes have problems getting some ladies to respond to my reference requests and it is VERY FRUSTRATING...

When I am researching a gentleman and he gives me his references... I try very hard to get in touch with each lady... I will send a message via ECCIE, email and if they have a telephone number listed then I will send them a text as well... I will ATTEMPT to contact each lady through all three of these routes a total of TWO TIMES... and after that... then I am afraid I have to put the BALL back into your court... Unfortunately, some of the ladies will ONLY REPLY if you contact them directly...

In my honest opinion this is a GREAT THREAD to have... I have routine health challenges and that has NEVER affected my ability to provide a reference for one of my men... So, I find it hard to accept that has a LONG TERM excuse... However, if someone reported that they were having trouble with a provider giving a reference then she can post a comment here saying she had some RW Issues going on... i.e., she is sick, family issues etc...

Thank you Candi for starting this thread... and while it may not always be the most comfortable topic... it is worthwhile and relevant in our seductive world...
