Also try to use no-impact exercises. For example using the elliptical instead of the treadmill. Your joints and especially your back will appreciate it.

More than half of what your body looks like is what you eat....

I've had personal trainers over the years and altough we are all different: gender, age, body type etc..
Here is a good start:

-More protein (less carbs, starches, fats)
-Egg whites, fish, chicken (grilled-not fried), turkey
-Plenty of fiber: spinach, nuts
-Remember veggies are carbs people don't realize that
-Little to no sugar / processed food
-No soda
-Don't eat past 7:30 p.m.
-Exercise daily...a body in motion stays in motion

and oh yeah..plenty of fucking..

There are huge differences in knowledge levels of personal trainers.. so if you get one shop around.. You can isolate your lower back with machines and free weights to take strain off that area but you need someone who knows what they are doing and of course there are some things you won't be able to do

Sounds like you are already doing awesome, best of luck!

Thank you darlin, I weighed in today down a couple more and I know that's slow but considering where i was a year and a half ago I'm down 60 lbs so ..I'm going to keep going and I'm going to hold you to your promise

4Karlos and SNL9933 all good advice. I went to elliptical, weights with high reps and hit swimming pool last. I have not had had any joint pain with this routine and I take Glucosamine.

It will keep you in shape and your cardiovascular system strong - which means better and longer fucking!
Any trainer worth their salt will tell you exercise is 20-25% of weight control...the balance is your intake. Watch you calories...free online websites for weight management...log your food, diagnose what you're eating, be honest with yourself. Set reasonable goals and don't "go on a diet" that implies that at some point you'll "go off the diet". Change your lifestyle.
You can do it but only if you're ready to. And no one can answer that except you.
Good luck sweetie.
And as far as my "street cred" goes, I lost 60 pounds in 1 year and have kept it off for the past 4 years.
Take multivitamin. I suggest orange triads by controlled labs. You can also add swimming to treadmill and bike.
Nothing wrong with walking, a mile a day does wonders. If it's too hot, and neighbourhood is OK, do it when dark, with all the dog walkers.

Make exercise part of your habit. Unless a very good reason, do a bit every day.

Get together with friends. Join a club, join a boot camp group, just find somebody to walk with you. Find somebody who goes to the same gym and make friends.

Is there a park near you which is safe?
No park nearby but the neighborhood is nice and safe so I don't mind walking in fact I try to twice a day..and I love it I have had to go buy new jeans because mine are too big ..and I gave away the big stuff because like they say at my meetings if you keep it you will go back to them .no way ..thanks everyone you guys rock , oh and Im not doing this for the hobby I'm doing it for me and so I can keep up with my granddaughter little rascal is fast..

Also good for your joints and back. I have had back problems as well and I find it to be very effective. :-)
