I miss the good days of bars and private clubs

I'm more concerned with a providers attitude, demeanor, and skill set than I am with her looks. The absolute worst experience came from an extremely gorgeous provider, while some of my best have been with those with imperfections. So for me, as long as I can reasonably verify that she's not LE, I'm okay with meeting her without pics. With reputable references of course.

I have seen a couple of providers on ECCIE that did not post face photos and each was a pleasant surprize. I'm also old enough to remember when seeing a photo was not an option at all.

Providers should keep this in mind when you consider whether to make pics available to clients before the first meeting.

I've done a few "signt unseens", if you can call it that, when my ATF has arranged a 3sum with someone whom I've never seen. Always a surprise......I never ask her for a description.

The OTC method is one of my favorites, a few drinks and a couple of lap dances, I can usually get a pretty good feel for the lady. As far as unseen from just an ad, I am happy those days are past. Although, there are a few posters on here that just from their style and flair of writing I would be happy to meet them for lunch or coffee just to put a face and a voice with the posts I have enjoyed.

I would prefer sight unseen over a provider that used misleading or fake pictures. I have seen a couple girls without pics but I only do that if I can get a solid recommendation and it is coming from a reviewer that I trust. I am a bit of a thrill seeker so the sight unseen thing is actually kind of a turn on.

I went to Vegas a long time ago and called an agency. They sent this fucking guy to my room who had a bunch of pics of ladies and I should pick out which one I wanted. Being the newbie dumb fuck I picked out one and waited another 30 minutes for this 190lb out of shape not the right hair color gal to show up. Grasshopper got some experience that day.

I do it often. You can always part ways if there is no connection. I wouldn't marry someone sight unseen but I would defiantly break bread or a bed.

Back in the ASP days when you could still read the reviews, I was intrigued by what I was reading about a provider, Lexieinhouston. She had no Pics, and still has none on ECCIE, but her reviews were outstanding with not one single NO. I looked at her P-411 page where she verified her sextivities and I was hooked. So sight unseen and an old pic that she sent, which revealed nothing, and a few pm's I was hooked. Digressing, it was the many reviews and her voice on the phone that made me want to see her. I never regretted it, but to see someone else sight unseen, I would have to see the reviews on her then decide as I did with her. To me a lack of pics isn't mysterious at all, it causes me to consider the distinct possibility that there are many flaws which cause the provider to be unwilling to show at least her body.

As I said, the main reason for my opinion is because the last time I saw a girl sight unseen was probably 10 years ago in Poland. I had a connecting flight but it didn't leave until the next morning and I was stuck out by the airport a long ways from town, no internet, only a phone book! So naturally I called an escort service and requested their most attractive, young, slim, English speaking girl for an hour. The lady on the phone spoke perfect English and assured me that she would send out her very best! The girl who showed up was, let's just say not what I was expecting! She was well past her prime, spoke no English, was carrying more than a few extra pounds, and on her best day could only be considered "plain" looking.

I was horny as hell and had a passably good time regardless but never again! In this day and age it's just not reasonable to me.

If I had to come up with a scenario in which I would see someone sight unseen it would be one in which the provider had a good number of reviews over time where the guys are going on and on about how gorgeous she is and how she has the face of a model and the body of a goddess etc etc.

The BCD is all important obviously but at the end of the day it begins with the physical attractiveness

Thanks, Spice. I totally see your viewpoint and quite actually, when I posted the topic here on ECCIE, I expected to have the overwhelming number of gents respond similarly.

Obviously, my underlying question was "how much does physical attractiveness alone play in a hobbyist's mind?" I wonder this because many times, in the real world, you hear guys say, "at first she looked like a 7, but when I got to know her, she turned into a 10!"

I think there's a common misconception with civilian public that guys who hobby and frequent boards like this are only looking to bang chicks who look like supermodels, since they are "paying for it." Obviously, that not always true.

I am of the opinion that most (not all) men hobby for one of two reasons: the adventure and variety OR to get something they are missing at home. I hear from many guys that say the are missing intimacy and emotional connection at home. That said, I oft wondered if a mental connection here, plus the knowledge a lady was willing and ready to sleep with a guy, was enough to interest some gentlemen.

After reading the responses thus far, I think I have my answer. Though I'd love to hear more!
