First, thanks to the techies for being able to record anything, regardless of when transmitted.
I’ll watch all the sled stuff; for skiing, the Downhill, Super G, and maybe the Giant Slalom; and Hockey.
For Hockey, and knowing the game a bit, sometimes the referees are entirely unfair, and some folks shouldn’t end up in the penalty box for defending themselves.

Back to sledding, for a variation on luge: There’s also a street (asphalt) version.
Here’s a highlights clip from the Maryhill (Goldendale, WA) track.
They’re hosting a world cup in June 2014.
Go full screen and if you have a safety harness on your game chair, buckle up.
Decent music, and thank the local farmers for the hay bales that get a bit of use.

Well I guess I can dream right? sad face
That would be a fantasy for you I'm sure. But Poland in the grand history of the Winter Olympics has only 14 medals total. Originally Posted by CryptKicker

I used to watch the Olympics, but I got to a point where I just don't care about them. The egos of the atletes and the amount of money involved in the Olympics makes it more like professional sports than what used to be amatuers competeing. Plus the fact that Putin has turned the games into a huge political statement makes me that much less likely to tune in. Plus, didn't they get rid of wrestling and add some dancing with ribbons on a stick as a sport? IMHO, that makes the games a joke.
I have some grave concerns about the safety of our athletes at this year's games, and agree with KCJoe's assessment, as well. But.....

This is perhaps the first Olympics where I have truly been concerned for the safety of our athletes. I really don't have confidence in Russia's ability to maintain security. Add to that the fact that Russians literally can't drive to save their lives and I worry about all of our athletes coming home in one piece.

For my part, I love just about every event in the winter games - figure skating, ice dancing, all of the skiing events, particularly cross country and the decathlon. I even enjoy curling for reasons I can't explain LOL
Posts 22,23 and 24 covers it for me. 100%
