I have donated dozens of times. In the military we would give a pint and drink a pint. Stupid thing to do but you do catch a good buzzz...

Your getting sick was probably a coincidence. Worst experience I had was on one of the mobile units that cruise Houston. Damn nurse missed my vein and hit something that shot a pain through my entire body. Then she pulls the needle out and resticks me. Last time on one of those buses.

I can't donate, I have a chronic illness of which my blood cell are misshapen. (it's hereditary not an STD) I'm not even sure I could donate my organs. T_T on the plus side should texas or the entire U.S experience a malaria epidemic I'll survive. little comfort that brings.
I used to donate regularly but when I started hobbying I stopped. If you answer the question about hobbying correctly they won't take your blood and there is a record that you hobby. If you don't answer it correctly you are potentially screwing up someone's life that is in desperate need of help and never consented to take the risk you decided to take. For me it is simple. If you hobby don't donate.

I can't donate cause I'm on prescription drugs.
I'm too busy.....hobbying.

Anyone have a list of the questions they ask?

Do they still ask if you've been to Africa or various African countries?

Do they ask about immunizations?
