This is an easy one . Life happens to all of us. I think Carolines 4 hour/50% fee is totally understandable. That said, whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Just offer the client the same appointment at 50% off. Originally Posted by citizen44

Actually, the way to handle this if Caroline would've enforced the policy, then she should comp him 50%. But it doesn't sound as if she would have. It sounds like it's a policy she enforces in NC/NS situations when money has already been spent.

If they call an hour before the lady is considerate and worth another chance. Isn't calling and confirming an hour before for this reason entirely.

I will admit for me personally though........whether a ladys reason is legitimate or not for canceling......especially if it only one hour before an appointment, I won't try to book her again, especially if its an overnight. Those cancelations one hour before are selfish as hell to other fellow provider who could acccommodate. I usually take those things as karma that the session might not have been good or its a taletale sign I shouldn't have seeen her anyways and to see an alternate.

As beautiful as she appears to be, coupled with the level of service she provides, I'd be disappointed if she cancelled on me an hour before our time, due to preparation and anticipation. If I could afford to see her, I'd have tried to reschedule instead of posting a complaint like she pulled a NCNS. It makes the OP seem petty.

Why would she want to see him, offer him anything ever? After trying to post a NCNS review? Really seriously? Do you think seeing him at 50% would be any better? That's crazy to think a lady would want to be in a room with a guy who acts like this.
It would waste his money again. If that was the case she could have seen him the first time at a subpar full rate, and not felt good about his experience.

Caroline did what was best, she didn't take his money, or give him a subpar visit.

In general I don't think a guy should get a discount if a provider calls off on short notice, just like I think its ridiculous for a provider to advertise the opposite. Like I said, life happens to all of us at times. Both sides just need to be understanding of each other.

I think Caroline replied in a totally classy and professional manner, so kudos to her. I also understand why she might have a clause like that. I would just caution that those clauses open ones self to hobbiest asking for the same level of monetary consideration.
If I had that clause on my website I wish a mf`r would ask me for that. That... Would be one for the history books.
