Your definition please: Hobby Hubby?

Cody, will you be a key note speaker at the next hooker convention, so the young ones could see an example of misogyny?! Kidding, of course. There really isn't a yearly hooker convention, yet.
Back to hobby husbands. I loved mine dearly. I still care for him and respect him very much.

Hugs to you... ex-hobby husband.

Providers are too dysfunctional to have a lasting relationship with, they have a tendency to go silent and run whenever things aren't just their way. So Hobby Hubby would be an oxymoron, emphasis on the moron. Originally Posted by lips in the hills

People are different, where one provider might not be able to handle having a serious relationship. There are others that have easily proven that we are more than capable of having a real life relationship
with somebody that means something to them.

It's all about being honest with that special someone. You have
to be willing to accept the person for who they are in their hearts!!!
If you can get past all of the BS from the outside world, it's amazing
What you can have when two people truly care for each other.

Just my 2 cents!!!!!

I love women and women have loved me. There is no indication in any of my posts of any remote dislike or hatred toward the opposite gender.

I'm simply addressing the topic with an objective and yes blunt point of view.

I'm not reading misogyny into Cody's posts, but a hard line he's drawn in the sand for relationships with providers, and perhaps a lack of respect and understanding for what we do for a living and how we do it. Somehow this makes us "less" than other women to him, therefore unsuitable for anything "serious." His choice, shrug. Each to their own, and we each know the truth of our own lives.

Maybe he just doesn't like sharing his toys.
I cant stop laughing at the residual sperm smell or the condom scent.

Dumbest thing ive heard all week and no apologies for that I swear I don't understand how ppl make those type of comments here and still get seen.

Hobby Hubby? I'd have to think that anything close to a marital arrangement wouldn't involve having sex. Isn't that why we're here?

I've been what I'd call a Hobby Big Brother. In Ohio I had 3 ladies that I had seen as Providers that became "Wards of Loxly" for lack of a better term. I no longer had sex with any of them but would have them over, singley and together, for dinner, haul them to "Special Events" (M&Gs), provided emergency roadside service and actually had to bail one out. There were a few other services that I did as well.

They'd also let me know where they were going if they happened to have a bad gut feeling about their date.

Some might call this being a borderline pimp. Whatever. I look at it as just a friendship that developed. I'd have to say that between the three of them they did help me out with hobbying and steering clear of some of the more "questionable" providers.

I wasn't alone in this either. We had a tight group back then and collectively served as a "Functional Hobby Family" with pooled services along with coming up with special events.

Establishing any sort of relationship isn't for everyone. As some have inferred "familiarity breeds contempt" so finding a balance, understanding it, and maintaining it with someone is tricky.

I think the ladies would be better off seeking out a non-paid male escort for events from guys they trust. Especially if they have the intention of being the designated drunk at a party.

I still can't figure out how everyone is defining a hobby hubby, probably because no single definition fits. I may have almost been one, either that or the most gullible SOB to ever hobby. Yeah, probably that.

Just wondering if the beast were to spend a week doing what I consider the IMPOSSIBLE job of a provider if he would think the same thoughts. You ladies are amazing.
Interesting topic and discussion!! I read some of this and I just !!!!

I just wonder when reading others if some are really as naïve as they would seem???? Consider the difference between a provider (someone who provides services, some sexual for a fee) and a slut (someone who fucks her companion on the first, second, or third date and continues every time she can get his pants off). We will contemplate a relationship with a slut (all the while denying to ourselves that is what she is), but not a provider????

Consider that you could meet a lady out and enjoy her company. Engage in conventional dating and learn to care for her, and never know what her day....er...a....night job really is. It could happen to any of us and unless she told us, we would never know......not even with the telltale scent of cockbreath!!!!!! Consider the possibilities?????????

It's like the age old question, "Do you know the difference between a prostitute and your wife?" You pay the prostitute to leave. You pay your wife to stay.

The self righteous are so conspicuous that I thought for a moment I was at a meeting for the Southern Baptist Convention!!!!!

Hmmmmmmm, interesting topic indeed!!!!! Hobby Husband, indeed!!!!
