The only song I get to wake me up and get going is the insistent and annoying BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP from my alarm clock. It has a good beat but is annoying as hell. Honestly does anybody like that noise? I don't think it matters how long you've been asleep once the alarm starts - 6 minute, 60 minutes, 6 hours, 6 month coma - as soon as your hear BEEP you want to yell FUCK. Excellent playlist Elum! As a 70's guy, I love Blue Oyster Cult, Kansas, and (60's) Steppenwolf...add "Monster" and "Don't Step on the Grass, Sam" to the mix.
