If you like Benihana's, then you would love Tokyo One in Addison.

http://tokyo-one.com/

It's a sushi buffet. The quality of the sushi is always good, but sometimes it's downright excellent.

$17 for lunch or $32 for dinner, awesome price for a sushi buffet. Lots of other hot asian food there if you have (weird) friends who don't like sushi, too.
Gui in Uptown. Good stuff.

I ordered some sushi and they forgot to cook
the damn stuff.

I didn't want to embarrass the cook and maybe get him
in trouble so I just took it home to my cat.

Shinshei, Nobu, Tei Tei, Tei An, Yutaka, Steel, and probably the best value in the area the great Oishii. Originally Posted by ftango4

Not authentic but piranha killer sushi has some tasty signature rolls.
Hypnotic is hands down the best and I've eaten at all of the above. If your still in town try it, it's off of Oak Lawn

I would say Oishii on Wycliff in Dallas.
It's really a great casual neighborhood place. The owner was the chef at Steele. Great sushi chef. He's viet so he has that on the menu too and its all good. Not as sophisticated as Tei Tei, or as formal as Nobu, but a hell of a lot cheaper and...... not strip center sushi....
