I too see both sides herein.....

One point for the rest of us to ponder (or not)... when a less-than-stellar review is posted, instead of just saying "hey, thanks for your perspective and contribution", a lot of ECCIE members debate the merits of said review and many times try to WK it.... from there is goes down the 'he said she said rabbit hole"..... my sense is that given this tendency to debate another's opinion, what we end up with is a lot of ++, + and ho-hum (pun intended) reviews, while the reviews for less then expected experiences largely remain unwritten....

what say all of you?

I'll check those off first and if they don't meet my criteria, I most likely will not even read the ROS. But the facts of the girl are in those four things. The top half of reviews is content (objective), whereas the ROS is more like storytelling (subjective). I also think ROS should have a limited character count, a la Twitter. Some of the ROS is waaaaayyy too wordy. By limiting the length, guys would be forced to say more with less.

Prolongus, not taking up space with your whole quote but must disagree on this point: way too many guys throw in an ROS that's too fucking short and non descriptive. If you see one that you think is too long, simply don't read it! My experience goes this way: if the Provider and the session was fantastic, I tend to write a longer ROS because it is worth sharing a great session! But I do not embelish the details nor am I subjective! If the Provider and session was mediocre, my ros is short and to the point and yet accurate!

You have to be careful too. If all you have are bad reviews, providers will not see you. Pick your spots.
Solemate62, I do see your points but I've found in a lot of the longer reviews, the reviewer seems to write about HIM instead of keeping it on topic about the girl.
I don't care if you were feeling horny that day.
I don't care if you were stuck in traffic.
I don't care if you have a big dick.
I don't care how times you made her cum.

We all get off track, beating our chests; I know I'm guilty of it sometimes.
Write about the GIRL.

Really is hard to write mainly about the girl when it takes the chemistry of the Two participants to make for a stellar session!

Guys this is why I don't like to post any reviews because of the negative comments. This is just my opinion and I wanted to share it. We are in the United States everyone has the freedom of speech! I don't understand why some hobby members get offended it's only true some women I'm not saying all have outrageous fees and are very unprofessional, that's all I'm saying. I'm not offending anyone in here so please show some respect!! Originally Posted by DR._LUV

The guys are correct however. By choosing to not write reviews you do lose respect and the ability to be taken seriously. I had almost 300 reviews on the other site and have posted less here on Eccie. But I do contribute, I do voice my opinion even though less than I used to, and I have learned to take the criticism with a grain of salt. It is part of being VISIBLE on these types of boards.
