Yes, it’s true that the globe is warming, and that humans are exerting a warming influence upon it. But beyond that — to paraphrase the classic movie “The Princess Bride” — “I do not think ‘The Science’ says what you think it says.”
That's what I have been saying since this debate began. Yes, putting more Co2 in the atmosphere is problematic and should be reduced as much as possible without destroying economies.

The "science" does not say we have 10, 12 years or we are all doomed.

One of the people I turn to to explain such matters is Ben Shapiro who I believe has one of the greatest minds today on "figuring shit out".

the last ice age, the quarternary glaciation appear to have lasted 3 million years. the temps are on the upswing.

the chart shows 4 warm periods. warm period is lasting longer and longer between ice age breaks.

the length of ice ages are getting shorter. 2 billion years ago, ice age lasted 300 million years. later ice ages lasted 200, 30 & 100 million years long, respectively.

while its true we are rather close to the ice age level. Earth came out of out it 10,000 - 12,000 years ago. the current state of the warm period is rather young.

Greta Thunberg: New IPCC Report Is a Wake-Up Call for All About the Escalating Climate Emergency

https://www.democracynow.org/2021/8/...rg_ipcc_report

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg says the latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change should serve as a “wake-up call” for governments to do more to lower emissions. In its first major report in nearly a decade, the IPCC says the Earth could face runaway global warming unless drastic efforts are made to eliminate greenhouse gases and that humans are “unequivocally to blame for the climate crisis,” which is already causing widespread and rapid changes. “The climate crisis is not going away,” Thunberg said. “It’s only escalating, and it’s only growing more intense by the hour.”

The Working Group I contribution to the Sixth Assessment Report addresses the most up-to-date physical understanding of the climate system and climate change, bringing together the latest advances in climate science, and combining multiple lines of evidence from paleoclimate, observations, process understanding, and global and regional climate simulations.
