Mass Shooting in Orlando

good point.. most of the problem is that fighting terrorism successfully involves the collective "we" around the Globe.. in this instance I would say Turkey got what they asked for.

get to them before they strap on the bombs.. utilize intelligence, round up these fuckers and jail them.. almost all of these terrorists have given signs of wanting to destroy western civilization and its peoples. we (the collective "we") know who 90% of them are.. every US terrorist has been known enough to have been jailed before their ugly deed was carried out. or shoot them dead, like in Garland, Texas.

I'm done Mule-fucking.. your comment that Obama has killed way more than Bush makes my point that this terrorism is a recent phenomenon, in the form it has taken.. that's something you seem to not be able to comprehend. Originally Posted by Chung Tran

Our opponents play a very long game whereas we tend to think in the very short term of a few years. The course of their grievances go back 800 years or more, and in their view, continue to this day. We have fundamentally incompatible views of the role that religion should play in government; the role of the individual in society; the role of women in society; and about personal sexual ethics and mores. Each of these, especially the first, tremendously complicates changing these centuries long held grudges.

If the problem were simple. It would have been solved long before we were born. And as we all learned in college, complex problems always have simple explanation and solutions. And all those simple explanations and solutions are always wrong.
I should have used the word "reducing" instead of stopping, yes.. I wasted a few paragraphs trying to clarify.. but I agree with what you say in its entirety. Originally Posted by Chung Tran

no apology, because that is not an argument, it's obvious to everyone. I made the comment "when are we going to get serious about stopping terrorism?", but I never said we could stop terrorism completely.

instead of claiming victory, why not offer solutions to terrorism? all you seem to have is reducing the number of guns.. what about cops killing more civilians? anyone can identify a problem, let's hear your solutions.

What is your solution to stopping terrorism that hasn't been tried and failed? Name any one country that has stopped terrorism? It can happen anywhere and at anytime- sure you can beef up security to reduce the likeness of it happening but doesn't mean it will not happen- you are not wise.

Again your logic is flawed- you talk about woman have no power in Islamic countries and that women are raped- oh really? Rape in Islam is instant execution- you said people get beheaded? Who the fuck cares- do you know beheading existed before Islam- if you are sentenced to DEATH- what difference does it make if they behead you, hang you- kill you with a firing squad, electric chair or lethal injection- the end result is the same you idiot. Again, you don't know the facts about Islam or Sharia Law. Also, you get beheaded in Islam because you believe in something different, not because you are sentenced. A daughter can and has been executed via decapitation because the father thought she was sleeping around. Go look at what's going on in the middle east. People are literally getting their heads chopped off.

in fact, China- yes your asian brothers- execute more people than any other nation- including Islamic nations.
No, they don't.

Also, just for your reference- since you think beheadings are so severe- keep in mind if you are beheaded you die within 3 seconds- what about crucifixion- far more torture than beheadings.
They crucify, too. And drown. And burn alive. And torture. What were you saying? Oh, right. you were agreeing with me in saying that Islam is evil.

- here's a list of the most extreme execution methods:http://www.historyrundown.com/10-mos...s-of-all-time/ none of them a\originated in Islamic countries and a few of them were invented by the Chinese.
Which has nothing to do with what's going on now, but okay. Not even worth mentioning.

You also mentioned lack of women rights in islam as a reason why it's evil- hmmm have you ever seen a female catholic priest? How many females are heads of church?
Wait, are you fucking kidding me? You're equating to a woman getting raped and murdered after LEGALLY to a woman not being able to become the head of her church? Is that your idea of moral equivalency? Good lord, what an utterly asinine comparison. How about genital mutilation? I'm sure the woman who is about to have her body physically ruined for the rest of her life feels better thinking to herself "At least I don't have to worry about being the turned down as head of my mosque!"

This year will be the first time the U.S will have a female President- you ever heard of woman suffrage hear in America?
Women have more rights in America than ever before. The dominant narrative now is that women are equal to men in every aspect of their lives, including physicality, which is obviously not true. In fact, women would have actually been granted the right to vote sooner, had they not tried to fight the process every step of the way during the sufferage. Oh, and what does this have to do with women being raped and murdered? NOTHING. You keep trying to play these sad red herrings which aren't even comparable. And again, what are women in America doing right now for the women in the middle east? Oh, right. NOTHING.

Has there ever been A Chinese, Japanese, or Korean as the head of State in any of those countries?
Park Geun-hye is the current President of South Korea.

Stop acting like female inequality is somehow just associated to islamic countries- you find that in nearly every country. You are a liar and very ill informed- you stereotype muslims- let me show you just how ignorant you are aOI.
What the fuck? When did I ever say that female inequality is just associated with Islamic countries? Maybe you missed the part where I said that women in Islamic countries are being fucking RAPED AND MURDERED LEGALLY. And you're bringing up bullshit like "But, I've never seen a female head of church or state!" "What about the women's sufferage!?!?!?" Women in the church, women in Asia and women in the American sufferage have never been raped legally and then murdered immediately afterwards, legally. There is no comparison. And the fact that you're trying to equate the two shows how little of an argument you have.

In the news, the past few years- we all seen videos of cop killing people abusing their power- it would be very ill informed of me to say that police are evil by judging the actions of a few and to paint aLL cops in the same manner with one broad stroke? Why are you doing the same with Islam?
Because cops don't have a policy book which literally tells them to do that, whereas, the Koran CLEARLY tells them that it's okay to do that. BIG difference.

Once again, Islam is an evil religion. And you will never be able to convince me otherwise, liberal.

You also mentioned in Islam a woman is less than a male - do you realize that holds true in Christianity and Judaism ? You do not know your own bible. Does your bible not say God gave man dominion of the woman and even in your New Testament it says very clearly that woman are to be submissive to their man. Can you name me one female priest ? In 99 percent of the Christian domination women are not allowed to hold top positions simply because of their gender.
How many woman prophets were there in the bible ? Were any of the disciples women ? Were there any women that were Pharisees or Sadducees? How many women are heads of states in 2016? Until this year we have never had a woman President in this so called Christian nation of ours - you are a fool and I don't know what asian country you come from but I bet they never had a woman president. So don't act like woman being inferior to men is just in Islamic nations - hell didn't last year in 2015 there was a bill that will guarantee women equal pay as men and let's not forget it was voted down by the republicans.
...And? What does that have to do with me?

Am I supposed to limit my free speech because someone else might start crying?

What the hell does that have to with anything? LOL, how pathetic that you have to reach so far for nothing! Originally Posted by Aoi

But unlike your pathetic attempts to shrug it off, they recognize exactly what must be done to curb gun violence.

What that article doesn't mention about US withdrawal of troops is that Trump was referring to NATO and how he felt that the United States is doing more than their share of the work, given how little other companies are doing/paying. It has nothing to do with Trump just pulling out of Korea.

So, that leftist rag, of course, has to pick and choose how the story is told.

Not to mention, there's nothing about an endorsement in there, at all. It was simply saying "Hey, that's not a bad idea."

Has it ever occured to you that even people you don't like, might just have a good idea? Originally Posted by Aoi

Oh, "there's nothing about an endorsement in there"..., "that's not a bad idea"..., from David Duke.
Wrong. If two parties willfully agree to a deal, it is not wrong.

If I convinced you to give me 100 dollars for a stick of gum that you wanted, it is not wrong. It's supply and demand. I had the supply, and you demanded it. It is business. And it was a transaction that both parties agreed to.

Just because one party benefits more from the transaction doesn't make it wrong.

Quite frankly, I hope President Trump does rip off other countries. I don't care about other countries. Outside of traveling overseas for some work every now and then, I am not vested in any country. I want MY country, the United States, to benefit more from any given transaction and I don't care if it's at the expense of other countries. Originally Posted by Aoi

Oh yes, someone did "convince" me to give him "100 dollars for a stick of gum" that I "wanted." That "transaction" took place on a Thanksgiving morning....
