With unlimited resources and budget at DHS on fighting illegal immigrants and trafficking, any states and localities willing can tap into the funding. With TX (governor) signed the agreement, state and local have fed funding in exchange for provide state local needs and supports. Fed doesn’t have to send their agents to get things done. Any potential places that potentially have illegals or traffickers will be targeted by unlimited resources and funding. It’s not about getting elected or reelected. It is about how much of fed money TX or Dallas can get and make DHS, State, LE and politicians look good. Yes, this facilities/businesses are easy targets to make money and look good.
DPD just announced yesterday a partnership with the feds on crime and trafficking. Specifically the northwest patrol (forest to northwest highway/webb chapel to luna.

Now it’s 2025 and nothing really changed.
The HH area was really fun from 2016-2022. Soo many Korean baddies to choose from. Cherry, Judy, Pam, Kiss, Sophia, Lisa, Joy, Sky, Ariana, Cici, Million just to name a few. Now we’re left with SWs

I think that the awareness to have in Dallas and specifically northwest area is to be thoughtful with your use of electronics because of the additional resources of LE. In addition, LE is going to want to show how effective the program was so there will be a lot of arrests.
The massage joints, streetwalkers and studios are already gone for the most part which only leaves the strip joints to make headlines with.

Whenever efforts are made to clean out the streetwalkers, they likely move to other nearby streets, and return once the patrols stop coming. With this extra money they should be able to patrol a larger area on a more consistent basis.

It may be no coincidence that DPD has seen growth on its recruitment, so they should have the bodies to devote to the effort.

Trained officers + additional funding = trouble for the hobby in the impacted areas.

And I bet they will be able to divert some local funds to other areas of the city, allowing them to clamp down on studios, agencies, etc., that may be operating elsewhere.
