Best beer commercial ever

That ad campaign was out before the Dylan Mulvaney can and almost no one gave a shit about it or the message until 2 months after the fact. Because the anti-woke mob needs new foils to sustain itself and because all that money that didn't go to woke AB got gobbled up by woke MC.

And the backlash and commentary proved that it wasn't about protecting women. Because that ad was a celebration of women, female brewers and poking gun at its own marketing.

And Yuengling's in bed with Molson Coors and has had a joint venture with them since 2020, in order to position their products for markets outside of their reach.

Molson Coors has sponsored numerous LGTBQ+ events. Coors is one of GLAAD's "most progressive" sponsors and actively fundraises. Miller Lite donated over $450k to the Equality Federation which is a major LGTBQ+ advocacy group.

Which is absolutely dripping with irony as the anti-woke jumped directly into the arms of an even more woke brewer over... one can.

But I don't see the big picture

Oh, and none of you were anywhere to be found supporting women's sports when this happened in 2021

Michelob Ultra announced in 2021 that it had partnered with CeCe Telfer, an LGBTQ+ advocate and the "first openly transgender female athlete to win an NCAA title
The folks drinking Bud Light in 2021 were drinking the #1 beer in gay and trans-friendly bars since 1977 and happy as fuck to do it.

Bud Light's history as the #1 was built largely on the back of an LGBTQ+ boycott of... concerns over polygraph testing their employees regarding their sex life.

I think anyone posting on this thread would logically agree with this..............

I would doubt behind closed doors, any corporate head would say this was a good move by budweiser and if they had a chance to go back in time, they wouldnt have done it......

who cares what will happen in a year or further, they fucked up and didnt realize this would happen Originally Posted by chizzy

What a joke. But typical considering the source

Who in this thread used the phrase "no big deal" berry?

Wasn't me.

We saw minimal impact initially. I ABSOLUTELY questioned and still question if the boycott has legs. Despite all the rhetoric you haven't seen the majority turn. The rhetoric is absolutely overblown. Lacks context.

If you want to make up more strawmen, keep at it.

You can try and walk back your previous statements all you want Gristle. They are out there for all to see.

You have been downplaying this boycott since it started. You have been wrong. I know you are afraid to admit it. Oh well

Maybe you can go buy some of your tranny piss beer cheap and help them out

It is there for people to see and form their own opinions. I can cite specifics. You're just hoping no one looks back to question your narrative.
I you think HDG is a leftist, your meter is broken!

Cute chart. What was the actual volume differential?

Ya know, for context?
Bud Light sales dropped by about 28% in May when compared to sales figures from last year following controversy over the company's partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The Journal reported that the company recently informed wholesalers that it would buy back unsold cases of beer that have passed their expiration dates.

Some say has no effect on AB.

Free fall? As a CFO/COO you know those aren't additive. What was the difference in 5 v 6? Any acceleration?

You also know you need more than a YoY delta vs a banner year.

6 weeks straight and the decline hasn't stopped even after AB's measures. That is free falling.
