So ofs, interesting idea. You think it would be a good idea to close open threads in case some one might break the rules if it stayed open. Is that what I am hearing?

You do realize the threads , at least in Houston, would be very short if we did that. Easy monitoring tho. Initial post, then BAM! , close that son of a bitch.

I will take your idea to modville and see if the top dogs agree with us doing it that way.

Let me be a little more specific. If said thread is connected to a guested handle and that handle was guested to protect real world info than yes the thread should be closed. Otherwise it might appear you mods are having fun pointing people for lincking the old handle to new in guise of protecting the said guested individuals real world info.

So, any thread that a guested handle is in should be closed? The main reason for a guested handle is a RW security problem. I think there would be a lot of unhappy people if we closed good threads because 4-5 people could not follow the rules. To protect people from themselves is not what the mods are here for.
